That wasn't the point, I just thought it was worth mentioning for other Lance Armstrong fans that didn't know how he did today.
I'm a fan of Guillaume Blot, he finished 102nd for all those who are also fans.
The point is, the cycling world doesn't revolve around Lance, the only time people want to hear about Lance is if he did a good result. It's bad enough having Planet Armstrong.

Funny how the other comment that's just as chauvinistic completely avoided any criticism

I don't claim it to be non-chauvinistic though, also I make no claims that anyone else on the site particularly cares about Impey, just like Ruben knows no won really cares about the Dutch riders he goes on about, however we will both continue to remind you about their existence and defend to the death our right to make you scroll through the 10 cm between the post above and the post below ours.

Question: On a scale of 1 - 10, how over blown is a top 5 for Lance in a TT where he gets beaten by Jimmy Casper and Gregory Rast.
I'm going with a 9.8 |

It's a prologue and Rast got some nice results from previous years to. He won it last year, 4th in 07. Engoulvent who won this year got second in 08(behind Cance) won it in 07. So the riders above Lance have some nice results from the same prologue before. So 5th from Lance isn't that bad but of course it could been better.

Visconti takes Stage 2 of the Tour de Luxembourg.
Cyril Lemoine is on top of the overall.
BLOT WATCH!
108th today +9 mins 40 seconds
Keep going, you can make top 100.
Unfortuantly he's even lower on GC.

Armstrong came 50th. Important to mention.
The riders above him have some nice results in these sort of stages afterall, and he was barely outsprinted by Napolitano, who won this Stage last year. So 50th from Lance isn't that bad but of course it could been better.

*and now to copy mb aswell*
Stannard comes 6th in Luxembourg, hopefully meaning that he is recovering well from the latest of his injuries (i.e. the 'shame' of finishing outside of the time limit of Paris-Roubaix, that has apparantely kept him out of racing for over a month).
Oh and Hutarovich was 2nd.

No the reason he's only started racing again is he's only just thawed out from Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne, earlier this year

One can do a lot with a microphone, a video editing thing and footage of Blot. And a moustache painter.

Alex Rasmussen was disqualified yesterday in Luxembourg because he lost his way trying to get back to the peleton after a puncture. |
