I'm wondering if Schleck wants to stay after this - if we look aside from the fact that he has already signed a new contract. |

Maybe if they wern't on the same team, that would be the start. Andy is doing a lot of work for Frank this year, next year I expect it to switch around. B) |

Boasson Hagen i think is more like a Cancellara type guy.
But i also Agree in a few years time is going to be a great battle. |

Thats the point,
how long until one of them decides to go be a team leader elsewhere.
Especially if Frank is made to work for Andy I reckon he will leave.

As Crue says, both Schleck's are on long-term deals at CSC. I can't see either leaving, even if Frank has to work for Andy. I hope I'm wrong though... |

Boasson Hagen???
Other than that, I agree and do seriously think that Andy Schleck is a future Tour de France winner.
Brian Holm think Boasson Hagen can become a stage racer.
And that Boasson Hagen can win Tour de France within 5 years |

But, big brother Frank are still stronger in the hilly classics?
And Littlebrother Andy better in stage races, maybe they will switch on helping each others.
But it would probably be good if one of them switch team so that there wont be any conflicts between the two brothers, that would be very sad to see happend. |

That sounds as likely as Devolder winning. It ain't going to happen, even if he can climb a little bit. |

45. BRUSEGHIN Marzio 74 LAMPRE 6h 28' 22" + 20' 24"
46. STEEGMANS Gert 97 QUICK STEP 6h 28' 22" + 20' 24"
Ok, Steegmans finishing with the number 3 of last years Giro. Right. Stop right there.
Also a major WTF at Sastre, Goubert, Weening, Aerts and Valverde this stage... |

Boasson Hagen has no chance of winning a GT
Completely no chance, not even a little bit. If Paolo Bettini has about a 0.02% chance of winning a GT, I'd say Boasson Hagen has around 0.001%
(went a bit further with that than I intended to, but you get the point)

Boassen Hagen will be a cobbel-TT-hill-(sprinter)specialist. And the short version, he can win everything exept GT's. (Maybe a little overrating.

Andy should stay with brother and CSC..no need to be cocky and be one and only leader (like Ricco). Talk abour Riis what you like..but he is doing great job. Even this tour he came out with 3 leaders..(bad day for Andy at the Hautcam)..and I like he's tactic knowledge |

Wim Vansevenant has a 6 minute lead over Mattheiu Sprinck in the fight to be "latern rouge", it can hardly go wrong for Wim, that will finish his carrer as record holder as he for the third time in a row ends at the bottom of the tour.

I don't know how much long Sastre will ride so maybe next year we'll see Andy riding as the team leader, but not in TDF.

I belive that you are Norwegian, hakab, so read this: https://tv2sporten.no/sykkel/article20...078993.ece. In that article Brian Holm says that Boasson Hagen has mailed to him, that in 2010, he will win his first stage, and in 5 years he will win the Tour overall. That has Boasson said himself...

Well, looking at the results from the last TT of the 2007 Tour..
Evans gained 2m33s on Sastra, so with the wings of the yellow jersey, it might actually be possible to defend the 1:35 lead, although I doubt it, but who knows.. My guess would not have been a stage win for Sastre if someone asked me before the stage
I think the deficit will still be less to Cadel this year, Sastre can TT a little bit. But Cadel will win, unless Sastre miraculously gains more time tomorrow.
It's also going to be interesting to see how tired Evans is on saturday. He didn't look to well, and if CSC can continue to make the race hard, Sastre could stand against Evans in the TT, but it's going to be a close one.
As to wings of the yellow jersey, look at MR last. He was a worse time trialist than Sastre and he came in top 20 on the TT in Albi.
Hope he'll defend. If anyone deserves to finish on top of the podium, I'd say it would be Sastre.

Bettini was initially a climber, then switched focus to the classics. Hagen has less chance than my grandmother.

let's break this down into parts:
cobbel - when has he shown anything on the cobbles against professionals? he might, but at this stage it's unlikely.
TT - go on
hill - heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell no.
(sprinter)specialist - he's a decent sprinter. they key word here is "decent". not "good"
He has the potential to become a type of Jens Voigt without the climbing skills, with a better sprint. He's a breakaway specialist. He has ZERO chance in the mountains and very little in the hills

And then they found second-generation EPO in his urine...
A better comparison is Pereiro, who lost 1:40 without the jersey and 1:29 when he had the jersey. If Landis wasn't half-dead from the monster solo effort he had done, he would've lost more time.
Sastre has a chance that's equal to the chance of Evans crashing/getting sick/whatever. meaning: extremely small
