They agree, that's why they signed Barry Markus some time ago. |

Compared to who?
When Nibali extended his contract with Astana this summer, it was reported that he would get close to four million Euro a year the next three seasons. Can't say Sagan is worth much more than Nibali...
It's just a shame that money has given Tinkov a ride with Cannondale. The Italian team and the World Tour would be much better without him, I think.
I somehow thought that it is 4millions per two years, so sorry, this make sense now and it is very good payment.

Im obviously a bit unhappy with Belkin getting rid of LLS. According to Velkins policies if they were saxobank/saxo-tinkoff contador would be in another team. Hes a gret rider for winning smaller tours and stages of bigger tours and at times he was stronger than any other Belkin rider other than Gesink. Although Belkin looks like they may do alright this season with Gesink and Mollema and Ten Dam who se to be getting better and better. Belkin need a sprinter i believe, other tham Renshaw.

Allan Davis to leave Orica. Relativity good season in 2012, however 2013 has been a disaster.
Still Drapac should be straight after him.
Clément Chevrier signs for Bissell Cycling Team U23 ( former Bontrager ) along Ruben Zepuntke. Two promising talents in one of the best developing team.

No surprise he is going as I can't even remember him being mentioned once this season, How many riders do Orica have now? Curious if there will be anymore signings.
Drapac would be a good fit for Davis as they only have Cantwell and maybe Palmer if he keeps developing as sprinters (both will do well is U.S races) so Davis could bring them some wins in the pro conti races.

I'm not unhappy about it, Belkin has a anti-doping policy, and it's good that they stick to that even when a (moderately) important rider has to leave for that.
Why would you say Gesink's name first when you talk about the strongest Belkin riders anyway? Why not say Vanmarcke f.e, one of the better cobblers who almost won Paris - Roubaix and is very young?(24 iirc)
Also, about sprinters, you are definitely missing Theo Bos.
He's definitely one of the fastest guys in the world, but Belkin's leadout train isn't really working out, and he's just weak over hills. I think he'd also be also dropped at any tough Grand Tour stage, so I guess that's why he doesn't race TdF, but he was planned to do Vuelta.
And yes, Markus is a solid sprinter indeed, in terms of speed probably faster than Renshaw, but lacks experience ofc

Two days after kicking LLS out (good riddance for them), it'd hardly make sense. |

I know that Vinmarcke is a strong cobble rider and that is good for Belkin as he is young (i think) . And another good thing is that both Gesink and Mollema are 27/28 yrs old so if mollema keeps up good form then GT ppdiums are definitely possible.

I don't think Gesink will (and should) focus on GTs. One-day races suit him ver well. In GTs, he should aim on stages or be a domestique for Mollema

I still think Gesink is a goood rider but Mollema is probably better than him now so he should be a super-domestique. I dont know if belkin has anyomeelse who.can support Mollema other than Tem Dam for one more season (depending on his form and when he retires).

I agree with Selwink, Gesink shouldn't focus on GT classifications anymore. What I'd really like is him going for polka-dots though, but he's not the tye of rider for that, I fear.
Also, erm, what?
Kelderman is a good domestique as well
No seriously, he was a good one for Gesink in the Giro, but Robert failed.
And Gesink still is a good one, as long as he stays on his bike.
But Kelderman won't ride TdF most likely, but Giro + Vuelta.
