Uruguay - South Korea
USA - Ghana
Germany - England
Argentina - Mexico
Holland - Slovakia
Brazil - Chile
Paraguay - Japan
Portugal - Spain
My predictions, of course, they'll be completely wrong.

A fun statistic
USA has played 180 min. without Benny Feilhaber - those minutes were lost 1-3 In the 90 minutes with Feilhaber, not counting today, USA has won 3-0.
That statistic has improved again today

Bye, USA.
Can't say that I feel too bad about it. The American media would be too annoying |

Wow, and these were part of the best 16 countries in the world???
Ok, the match was exciting, but the level of play was laughable. I mean cmon
Ghana will certainly lose to Uruguay... |

I am amazed how Ruben keeps out-biassing himself every single time he posts...

lol
he reminds me a little of Johan Derksen
I don't agree though. Not saying Ghana will win but they have a decent chance. I actually think their win was comparable to Uruguay's. Better finishing and efficiency but not dominating possession. Generally looking under controil though, after the 1-1 Ghana and Uruguay settled it pretty easily again.
Ghana only came out poor in the 2nd half. I think they came out too defensive minded, being up a goal. |

Be grateful we won't be winning this wc, because. If we had, as late night Satirist Jon Stewart observed, for the next four years the world would have to call the sport soccer...

That should've been 2-2.
Thank you very much Blatter and FIFA.
