That would be the spanish dream team of the century.. only ones missing would be Sammy, Rodriguez and Freire
Totally agree! With Sammy and Rodriguez, Contador had no problem to win the Tour.....brilliant team.
Agreed... but then again, wouldn't that be to many chefs in one kitchen?

Surely it would be! But they would be unbeatable in Tour and Vuelta. They could even go for the Giro as well. Valverde, Rodriguez, Sammy Sanchez and Contador!? Haha might be awesome. Imagine Sammy takes the Giro with Contador supporting him, Contador takes the Tour with Sammy and Valverde and Rodriguez take the Vuelta(+Rodriguez is also a great classic guy in spring) |

And then Freire would take the Points jersey in Giro, Rojas in the Tour and Ventoso in the Vuelta

That would be a disaster for Saxo Bank. I do understand Contador though.

They'll have to make room for his court then. I guess Navarro's and Hernández's contracts both end this year, as their leader's did? Not that Riis would have any problem in letting them go free though.

Navarro and Hernandez attend Contador to Movistar maybe? Omg it would be an awesome team then. |

Don't blame me.. it was CT who put it in my head by saying Contador wants to go to Movistar.. I don't think the Norwegian media has even managed to find out that he might be leaving
EDIT: No I don't think it'll happen either
EDIT2: Just saw that atleast one Norwegian site has the news now.. so we finally figured it out too

I wouldn't mind betting a couple of Cocios that Contador will be with Movistar in 2013 |

I hope Contador doesnt go to Movistar, Valverde won't be the super star rider of the team then

I'm against it for another reason.
If Conta went to Moviestar then Valverde would have to drop Tour ambitions (luckily he won't do it on his own, he's too dumb) and concentrate on races he might actually win. I can handle him winning Vuelta but if he ever won several Ardenne classics or Giro I'll go crazy.

Obviously he'd be a longshot to win the tour, but how is he dumb for having Tour ambitions?
I mean its not like he doesn't try at other races like Andy, so if his dream is to win the Tour and he's still getting good results elsewhere, whats wrong with that?

I want Valverde to win the Tour, because if he ever does, he will win by attacking on any stafe with a hill on it, can't see him ever racing the Giro though

That lack of doughnuts story is a serious reason to switch teams.
