I have a perfect solution for the managerial crisis at blackburn:
Manager: Sam Allerdyce (get him back to his best)
Assistant: Tugay (a role as assistant/player) B)
And i know it was announced a while aggo but i forgot to mention. Bafatemi Gomis (the next didier Drogba) has announced he will refuse offers from Inter, Milan, Madrid, Lyon, Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern, Juventus, Barca to sign a new contract at St.Ettiene!!!!! is this man on drugs!!!! id have sawed off my own right arm to play for those clubs and he wants to stay at some french club who doesnt challenge for the title!!!

Well why ?? In St. Etienne he's the star.. He'll play every match and play as long as he wants to ..
In the other clubs you mention he'll be NOTHING.. He won't play every match.. He won't be the star.. For young guys like him it's very important to play and in Bayern they have TONI, Klose, Podolski..
Inter: Zlatan, Cruz, Adriano (If he's back in form), Crespo, Suazo..
Madrid: Van Nistelrooy, Raul (THE KING), Robinho,
Arsenal: Eduardo, Adebayor, Van Persie, Bendtner
Chelsea: Drogba, Scheva, Anelka,

What's the point in going to them teams?
They would buy him and never play him. He's obviously one of the good footballers who play football to play football and don't play for money. There's nothing wrong with his choice.
Maybe Newcastle would play him, but what's the point in moving away from your country when you're young, away from your favourite club and somewhere where you feel at home, to a different team where no-one/ hardly anyone speaks your language and you won't get to play football

What , Drogba will clearly leave this summer, shevchenko is well past his best and gomis is already better than he is now, look at his debut for france, they are already dubbing him the next zidane, he scored 2 goals, more than sheva in a season. That leaves anelka, who isnt totally settled, but yet hes french, so the pairing of anelka and gomis would be perfect. Podolski has been playing for bayern reserves and is linked to a move to the prem, so that leaves at least a bench at bayern. Milan is an aging squad, and young fresh strikers tipped for success is what they want, e.g pato. Barca is selling there top strikers, leaving henry as there main spearhead, and what kink does he have with gomis, FRANCE!!!
He could have started at many clubs and even benched at some of the best clubs in the best clubs in the world. He still would have grown as a player because of the experience and world class around him. He could have moved and it would have been a much better option for him to grow as a player, but i admire him for his loyalty which is something top proffesionals lack these days.

First of all Drogba hasn't left Chelsea yet .. Don't know if he will.. Ofc he says that he want to move to another club but Chelsea wants 30 million £ for him... Way too much .. Lukas Podolski is staying with Bayern.. Jürgen Klinsmann is gonna be new manager for Bayern next season. He loves Podolski and therefore he has said that Bayern should keep Podolski ..
With all respect for Gomis he isn't a worldclass striker and a club like Chelsea will probably spend 100 million £ on transfers this season .. (buying a worldclass striker).. Barca has one of the biggest striker talents in the world - BOJAN and then they also have Henry..
You may develop due to training with the best players in the world but NOTHING develops you as a player like playing the matches for your club.. And lets face it Gomis wouldn't play 50 % of the matches if he played for Arsenal, Man utd, Chelsea, Bayern, Juventus, Inter, AC Milan, and so on.. With St. Etienne he plays every single match if he's fit .. And St. Etienne is going to play in the UEFA CUP next season.. I think he made the right decision by staying with St. Etienne .. If these clubs wants him now, why shouldn't they want him next year too ? :S
If he indeed is good enough then they'll want him for the rest of his career.. !
EDIT: I'll just give you an example: Ruben de la Red .. He played with some of the best players in the world in Real Madrid .. But when did he REALLY develop into being a great player ?? He did that when he stated playing every match in GETAFE this season .. Now R. Madrid wants him back.. Arsenal wants him.. If he'd stayed with Madrid this season he wouldn't play more than 5 matches the entire season.. And where would he be now ? He would be completely unknown..!

The commentators are getting the statistics out about Anelka
Apparently he is the most expensive footballer ever. Over £70million has been spent on him. Also, this is only his 2nd ever big tournament with France.

A funny thing about Anelka .. His talent and potential was/is really great.. He had the potential of becoming a whole lot better than Henry (when he was on top of his game).. Anelka's problem has always been his attitude and his "head".. He has problems with behaving himself and he had some big problems earlier in his career.. |

Eric Cantona has said that he could be tempted to come back into the game with a managerial role. However there are only 2 teams that he wants to manage; Manchester United and the England national team.
He says that he picks things up quickly and his lack of managerial experience wouldn't be a problem, who is anyone to disagree with him?
He says that he would be a good England manager because he is passionate about England. He said "I feel more English than French. I always support England over France when they play each other."
So, him taking over from Fergie when he retires, then moving onto England boss, sounds likely.
--------
Zico has quit Fenerbaçe due to not being able to agree on a new deal.
--------
Alan Shearer is the favourite to become the new Blackburn boss as he and 3 others will go for an interview soon. The shortlist of 4 have been whittled down from a selection of 40, so they're pretty sure they can get the right man.

Well he's a legend
He has a great reputation but it's a bit naive to think he can become Manager for Man utd or the English national team eventhough Barcelona just hired a manager without much experience hehe
There's hope for him then |

Chelsea are encouraged with their approach for Fernando Torres, after Liverpool haven't yet rejected their offer. It must be some bid to make Liverpool think about selling him.

Ok, now a bombardment of Man City news
Mark Hughes is set to make offers for both Christopher Samba and David Bentley from his old club.
--
AC Milan have dropped out of the running, so making City the only serious contender for the Brazilian.
Milan chief Adriano Galliani said today: "We need to sign a new striker - and it will not be Ronaldinho."
Ronaldino however is said to be unimpressed with City's offer of just £200,000 per week with £1.6million in bonus'.
--
“Is it possible for Manchester City to spend £100 million-plus,” Garry Cook, City’s new executive chairman, said yesterday. “I have no doubt, if players become available who are the right type to invest in and there is a potential return on spending that money, our chairman [Thaksin] will spend whatever it takes. Thaksin Shinawatra believes we are only three years away from being one of Europe’s top clubs.”
--
Man City are pushing for the signing of Lucas Podolski after failing to get him on loan in January.
--
Mark Hughes has stalled the Jo deal. "We tried to slow that one down," executive chairman Garry Cook revealed in The Independent.
"We were moving very quickly and it was important to get Mark to have a strong point of view on what he wanted."
City also expect to have an initial work permit application turned down for the striker, but are confident they will be successful upon appeal.

Giovani dos Santos didn't want to go to Man City. City will have offered him a hell of a lot of money, that's for sure, but Giovani obviously didn't like the surroundings.
It's weird since Man City have one of the best training facilities in England. It is a pity since I've always been a fan of his since I first heard of him when he was 16. As long as some Barca players go to City...

Rainy Manchester...or glitzy London? Not a difficult choice to make I guess if the deals from the two clubs were similar |

Yes you have a point. That is also one of the points raised when Ronaldinho's agent stated that he wasn't happy with Man City's offer. He said that Ronaldinho didn't like the weather in Manchester. I don't blame him.
EDIT: shut up Crue Hughes said himself that City will be as big as United, and I believe him, because if I don't then I won't have any chance to argue with United fans.

Tottenham aren't that small
I don't hate Man Utd and Arsenal, they play good football. I hate Chelsea because, well, they're Chelsea. I do like Man City, of course; Everton and also Portsmouth.
