Well he is a very similar rider to the old wiggins, but I would've thought that if it was any of those young Aussies it'd be bobridge |

.....so Astana started training.
And this was news to Ruben Plaza, as he thought he had a contract with them....
So he told them to stuff it and signed with Caisse.
Astana's a riot, really.

I have actually. Then I realised I was as funny as you.
I think you'll be somewhat surprised, and then I'll be gloating over you, like fat American's do.

Okay, so I don't know that much about him, but Downing has always struck me as more of a crit built racer. The sort of guy who is great in crits, can handle himself in short, feisty road races (think ToB), but wouldn't be able to do well in longer, full classic style races. It has nothing to do with him being British, it just seemed to me he was more of that sort of rider (just like 95% of US pro's) than a longer distance guy (i.e. a Millar or what not) |

it will be interesting, because we haven't seen him ride rraces as hard as LBL etc
I imagine something like Fleche Brabanconne would be good for him. He is like a punchier version of Oscar Freire

They were really close at losing Pereiro, now this. They obiously don't want any help for Contador in the Tour |
