Chile was brave, but Brasil played better football thus deserving this outcome imo. Can't avoid feeling pity for the chileans though. Brazil was better but i doubt you can call that football.
I really hope this Brazil doesn't become WC |

That was insane, not even looking at the goal when he hit it. Rodriguez really showing his potential here in Brazil, now even the Golden boot holder. |

Yeah. Even red cards to the bench were given in the past. Even as far back as 20 years ago I remember as a kid I watched a match where that happened. |

It happens pretty often these days too, so it's nothing weird really.

I.don't know how you can say Brazil played better. They hoof and chase. Chile actually looked like a good Football Team. Really hope Colombia will show up Brazil in the quarters after a good win against Uruguay.

Greeeeeeeeeeeeeat played by Colombia, really one of the surprises this WC. They have been playing good offensive football, which always speaks to my heart. After Ghana left the WC, I have needed a team to cheer for. Go Colombia!
And **** Uruguay! **** Suarez! 2010 WC will never be forgotten.

I'd have done the same, that was maybe his single most brilliant action on the pitch...

We have this saying: Det var røveri ved højlys dag, which can be translated with something like: This was robbery in broad daylight.
I can't forgive him for being so unsportsmanlike, I really can't. And just seeing him celebrate the way he did after they won. I felt like vomitting. Since that day I have disliked Suarez a lot.

Of all the things Suarez has done you are mad about a handball on the line? Every player with even half a brain (no matter how twisted) would have done the same as Suarez did there. |

Couldn't agree more. Literally everyone would've done that. What I find way more outrageous was Henry against Ireland in the playoffs or the Hand of God, because they weren't a reflex, like in Suarez case, but a conscious decision to disobey the rules. The most important difference however is that they got away with it, whilst Suarez was sent off.

Yes because he robbed Ghana from qualifying for the next round. Everyone would have done the same? Might be, but that doesn't make it right. Should I dislike him because he bite someone? Well as long as he didnt take the arm I really don't care. He robbed a nation and all their fans from making history (would have been the furthest any African team ever would have made in the WC). Yes that's why I dislike him.
Ivanovic or Chiellini didn't lose anything. But Ghana did.

Except for the fact that Suarez was penalised and Ghana were still given the penalty. An easy chance to win the game that Gyan decided he'd try to hit a fan in row Z with.
I hate Suarez as much as anyone but he did nothing wrong there. Not to mention that it was a reflex action and he couldn't possibly think in that time. Especially when you consider how stupid he is anyway.

@jacobjc88
Well, he was sent off for that and Ghana got a penalty afterwards, so I can't see a single problem with it. Everyone would do it, at that point. Gyan had his chance to get Ghana to semi-finals and he wasted it - his problem.
Ivanovic or Chiellini didn't lose anything.
Oh my God... Let's bite each other, you won't lose anything. I promise!
