You can hardly compare Blackburn and Arsenal Valv. But this is not about results itself, but about lack of motivation of players and fact that now the club is mainly existing as business project for it owners and nobody gives a shit about results or fans, as long as the most expensive tickets worldwide are bringing enough money to their pockets.
Also Wenger era is over for me and he should really move away from the spot, he is doing more bad things than good ones. He is a legend, but also the legends should end one day. He is not able to buy players good enough for calibre of Arsenal, instead he relies on shite players like Gervinho and Ramsey, who are tragic.
And i am hardly overreacting, when my side lost in two domestic cups with 4th and 2nd league teams, we should have been winning likje 5-0, 10-2 in those matches, this is not excusable and Arsernal is failing again because of same problems year and year. Maybe we need terrible Liverpool like season to wake up and start doing things different.

What you've just said here, sounds almost exactly like Blackburn, and so according to that, it is completely comparable

A change could do Arsenal some good, but I dont think Wenger is as bad as people are making him out to be right now. He should try and stop buying players from Ligue 1 as much though.
And the results could still always be worse. I dont understand how losing to a Championship team who were relegated last season from the Premier League and are now on a good run of form, and still only losing 1-0 in a game that you dominated can be the breaking point.
Also why would a poor run in the league affect your Cup runs? You are 5th in the league behind 4 much bigger spenders. Thats pretty good imo. Not much you can improve there, until your spending becomes just like the other 3 Top teams. Would you not just react in the same way as now, if you have a poor season in the EPL?
You are lucky that Arsenal are such a massive club. For international fans, it may be taken for granted just how lucky you are to be able to see your team on TV week in and week out.
With timezones, school and all of that, Im lucky if I see two full matches of Blackburn, because the only ones that get on TV are the midweek matches, which I can only watch streams of, and of course thats during the school day.

I haven´t seen all goals today but do you don´t mean Leon Osman´s goals today? That was a nice goal indeed. |

Our Osman. It's a Everton player, don't know why, but I always mix up Osman and Baine's. |

Was at the Villa game yesterday and the atmosphere was electric. I've been to quite a lot of games but I have never seen an atmosphere like that at an English game. Important 3 points and an important chance to shout at Harry Redknapp. |

Yess, Aston Villa U19 Champions of Europe!
Beating Chelsea 2-0 in the NextGen Series final. Things look good at least from our youth level, which is always the key.

Obviously that's because Feyenoord didn't participate
Spoiler Seriously, Feyenoord got an extremely talented generation, its just that all those premier league clubs are 'buying' them away at Age 15-17, for a bargain
Anyway, congratulations Alak

Typical Villa performance. Good in 1st half. Bottled it in 2nd. Overall you deserved to win. It's annoying though that the same pattern of doing well in first half and shambles in 2nd is continuing. Something needs to be done there.
And Liverpool is not far away from finally competing with best.
