Not surprising at all considering his Willunga performance in the TDU.

Nothing personal, but

He's won a couple of sprints this year. We'd see where he stands against the best guys. I'm not saying he'd win, I think it's unlikely he would.

This isn't shit small race when Cav is here Pfft

Nah, well this sprinter line up is quite impressive so a win here is rather nice tbh Wink When Greipel won before this month, sprinter line up was very weak. Here, it's different Wink

You completely misunterstood me. I didn't question his sprint abilities at all, it's just that his name is Degenkolb, not Dengelkolb Wink

Yes wonder if he got confused and thought Renshaw was leading him out and there was 500m to go given his claims of misjudging the finish Pfft

Cav's train wasn't too well, supposedly.
Still nice win by the German.

EdvaldBoassonHagen
Nizzolo weak as always.

Schnuider
Very disappointing for Greipel

Indeed , get beat by Cavendish who gets himself beaten. I think Greipel is very disappointed of himself.

Ian Butler
Greipel has got to start being more aggressive in the sprint. Not in a dangerous way, but this clearly isn't working for him.

Alakagom
He clearly is as he beat Cav today to get stage win on 2 stage in ZLM Tour Wink Cav 2nd and Renshaw 3rd.

Very interesting he beat Cav Smile

Bias to Sky and Cav acknowledged up front but...

...shaping up nicely for competition at the Tour, especially given the possible number of bunch sprints. I'm sure it's not intentional, but other sprinters beating Cav now may help Sky considerably in the flat stages with other teams much more likely to chase.

Ian Butler
Great job from Greipel, good to see him win this one, he had me doubting.

Wilier
Arnaud Demare (FDJ - BigMat) wins the second stage of the Route du Sud, in front of Steven Caethoven (Accent.jobs - Willems Verandas) and Manuel Belletti (Ag2r - La Mondiale). Demare also takes the leader's jersey.
