It's Monfort, to the surprise of no one.
Honestly, it's really getting very annoying that they've had these signings lined up months ago (we all knew these names back then), yet they're dragging out the announcements over several months. Sponsor included.

How ironic that I opened this topic and it opened on this page....because I read this post by Guido when i was coming in here to post:
Balint Szeghalmi. Lampre's new superstar signing. WTF.

His CQ Ranking picture makes him look like a bicycle messenger who lives in Williamsburg, rides a fixie, and drinks PBR till he passes out every night. |

What, you guys don't know Balint Szeghalmi?
He was Hungarian champion a few years back.
Indeed. However, how much does that really say about his skills?
I can think of maybe 3 other Hungarian cyclists: Ivanics, Kusztor, Cziraki. Bodrogi doesn't count.
Let's not judge the guy too soon, though. He could be OK. |

Judging by his CQ-picture, it's clear to me what Lampre's evil master plan is.
With beard: best results; first place Hungarian National Championship, forth place Tour of Hungary.
Without massive air resistance due to beard: Giro top 3, clearly. |

Actually yeah, does any one know what the Eritrean whose name I'm about to butcher, Tekelehaimont, is doing next year? |
