Whether forecast for tomorrow: 50% chance for rain, and moderate winds. Rabobank will find a long straigth road, get all 9 men up front to pull some bordures, and then Gesink will take 5 minutes to all his opponents

Hopefully Saxo Bank will be placed in the front, normally they are extremely competent at taking advantage of the wind, but they got screwed over backwards by Brian Holm and co. in the Tour. |

I think Fuglsang and Gesink will be the big young surprises at this vuelta.

Agreed he is definitely better than the Schlecks, and no one is as consistently great as Cancellara in the ITT.
Gesink will definitely be a force in the future. A bit of me worries that the Schlecks will not renew their contracts with Saxo because of how talented Fuglsang will be. I hope that doesn't happen though, because it would be stunning to see the three of them working together for the maillot jaune at the Tour eventually.

Strong ride from Cancellara, I didn't get to see much of the race because I was at work (thank god Universal is streaming it at least). The course looked awesome though, and I think I speak for all the cyclists on the site when I say I would love to take a ride on that track
P.S.: Out of all the idiotic votes in the poll above, I can't decide whether the Danielson vote (probably by Matt) or the Tondo vote is more disgusting... |
