Two Danish scientists were asked to analyze Wiggins' blood values. From the material they had, they said that there was nothing in the numbers saying that it was a doped athlete they were dealing with. One noted, though, that it was weird that Wiggins' off score increased during the Tour (which it does when using blood transfusions) when it normally should decrease.
i wish Contador would publish his blood values
And then compare them. It would be hilarious
On the last day of the Tour a journalist asked Cotnador what his VO2max was. A perfectly innocent question.
He was pissed and refused to answer.
Which would be mind boggling......if this wasn't sports. It's just immensely suspicious and shows quite clearly that he has to be doped.
There is absolutely no other reason whatsoever for him to be pissed at being asked that, or even for him to not reveal it.
it's VO2Max....it's like asking "how much do you weigh?", except that your weight being above a certain value can't 100% without a doubt indicate doping use.
The fact that he refused to answer, and more than that, the fact that he was so extremely pissed at the question.........well, only a fanboy can come up with an insane explanation for him to do that other than the obvious logical one.
I like the way you make a preemptive argument to dismiss any or all opposed to your point of view as "fanboys". You can quite clearly see that Contador was asked a very loaded question, which, in part, is why he got angry (besides the fact that he probably is doped).
It is not as if the question was asked out of the blue. It's like first saying to a person "you look really obese..." and then asking: "By the way, how much do you weigh?".
You have to look at the context of the question, not just the question it self.
And if you don't agree you are just a biased Contador hater.
Way to try your hardest to go around the issue
If he's clean, what possible explanation could there be for not disclosing your VO2max? None.
It was in no way a loaded question. The reporter said he was very impressive and asked what his VO2max was. And Contador very suddenly became very pissed. There was no implication, there was nothing. There was just Contador reacting very badly to a very normal question.
In light of Lemonds accusations you must admit that the question could very well be interpreted as loaded by Contador. I am not questioning the fact that Contadors reaction was likely also due to the fact that he is a cheat, but to take Contadors reaction as proof of him doping is in my oppinion an overinterpretation.
If you think that Contador is a cheat, you will likely interpret his reaction as proof. If you believe he is clean, you could interpret his reaction as proof. |

Didn't the Tour of Denmark give os tons of pts? How about blaming Bjarne Riis for his wedding, assuming that Nicki Sørensen would've done podium making 4 in a row for CSC, probably being enough?
No, because all Danish Pro Tour rider teams don't count in the continental ranking
Maybe now, you see the failure of the ranking system? Now it affects your country as well?
Realized that I should've read Crues post right after I posted mine, couldn't bother deleting it though...
I've never said it was perfect, but in all honesty we don't deserve more than 3 riders... We simply don't have enough good riders.
It would've been interesting with 6, but we can't put in more than 7 decent riders anyway, and I suppose only 3 of them will do any difference anyhow... |

mr moron, do you perhaps think that with all the acusation arround Contador he _might_ be abit tired of people trying to get him to say too much. i'm in no way saying his not doped, or in any way a fanboy of contador. but your argument is very poor.
That he got pissed isnt fact of anything. to me it even doesnt strenghten the strong accusations agaisnt him.
Edit: sorry for typoes

He got left out of the puerto case yet he was in it (Same as Valverde)
The Difference between the 2 is that Valverde was connected to a name(titi) and contador not. yet witnessess (i forgot who) said that contador was a client of puerto.
Rumours go that he was removed of the list because he would be crownwitness.
now the CONi has got enough evidence to suspend Valverde (which they have, causing him not to start in the tdf). Yet the spanish doping agency refuses to suspend him. They have all the files but refuse to look in it.
The chances of Contador being doped is later large
in 2005 he ended 35th in tdf. Next year he didn't rode it but in 2007 he is suddenly the best climber after the fully doped rasmussen.
He climbs way better then Evans,Leipheimer etc
I'm not accusing him of anything but he makes himself look suspicious

i agree with you, but just because he got angry when someone asked him about his VO2max, does not in any case make him guilty. it is stupid, and you may wonder why, but it doesnt make him guilty |

In this day and age though, if I could offer any proof that I'm clean I would try to do so. That's what I like about what Wiggins did.
If I'm Contador and people keep telling me I'm doped, then I give them my VO2 to show that I'm not.
UNLESS....(BUM BUM BAAAAAAMMMM *cue ominous music*) |

A somewhat funny story;
What was supposed to be a South African cycling talent, Luthando Kaka, left his Danish Continental Team, Glud & Marstrand Horsens, and traveled back to South Africa, without telling anyone. The reason was, that he meant he should be the captain of the team in the Tour of Denmark. The team owner did not agree though. Quite smart, as Kaka ended 84 in the GC, 20 minutes behind Fuglsang.
The team manager now says, that the team will now fully focus on Danish riders again, and that Max Jenkins future is yet to be decided.
What a drama....

He was actually brought up here by Saxo Bank, who wanted a closer look at him.
Way to ruin it, Luthando!

Supposedly he seemed to be conscious and in a stable condition when he was being airlifted to hospital, but worsened dramatically once he got there

Taylor Phinney is scum compared to this guy:
Michael Hepburn
He just beat his junior world record on 3km pursuit for juniors two times today, firstly he roade 3.15.743 in the qual beating his own record (3.16.385). Later in the final he rode 3.15.586. Beating the second best junior ever with over a second (Phinney 3.16.589). Now lets start the hype and call him being the next new tour winner
