Le Tour de Langkawi Stage 3 Kuala Kangsar - Cameron Highlands
Here we are then the first mountain stage of The Tour de Langkawi, we went into todays stage with confidence, a yellow jersey that doesnt need defending (much) is perfect for an attack. With Pardilla lacking form our best Hope is Intxausti he was unsure on his personal plans but said...
"Maybe an attack is the best option because my climb ability isnt the best, and if Adam Blythe cant get away because he high overall."
With plenty of big name wanting the stage it would be hard but worth it and it will give the team some experence.
Blythe started near the front ready for the attack...
He tried to get away...
But it wasnt to be so Intxausti made his move...
He eyes up the challenge...
A sudden burst of pace from th peleton catchs the group!
But a neat little move with Florencio, high overall, and Trusov gets him back off the front...
Pardilla tried hard to get away but he lacked form and paid the price...
Over the summit Trusox led and Sella was hovering behind.
The second summit Sella joined...
Florencio wins because he has the better sprint...
Joly and Calzati made a little move to get some seconds in hand.
The team didnt do that bad...
3rd is good
Took it with a big gap, a good 2nd and 5th for us!
Its close i wonder how Klyuev can do in the next days...
It looks like we can get this one...
Well what do you think and dont forget you can ask anyone questions. |

No, I'd rather you kept using lots of images than making them bad quality.

Le Tour de Langkawi Stage 4 Gua Mersang - Kota Bahru
Yesterday the critics ripped us apart say, "Todays stage showed how weak this team was"..."Another poor performance by manager Matt Booth". The team wanted to get todays stage over and done with a to prove the press wrong.
A break away was definatly on the cards today after yesterdays mountain stage.
A very flat stage good for the sprinters but if the big protour teams cant be botherd to chase the break will probably stay away...
A break of 8 riders went away including the German RR champ again!
Peron found himself in no mans land chasing something he couldnt catch
The break lasted but it was close about a minute!
Yannick Talabardon the frenchman won but there was really no challenge.

You might want to try taking pictures withouyt the riders names? (Hitting Tab hides them).
Question for Benat Intxausti:
Can you keep up your good form in the other mountain satge, and possibly take the KoM jersey? (Or even Yellow?)

A (Benat Intxausti) : Uhm... im not really in great shape as such but i think now ive got more experience i might be able to do something. The previous mountain stage gave me a real feeling of what mountains ar going to be like. Im not sure if i take KoM and yellow might be hard, florencio is in great shape he was telling me this morning...
Hope that answers your question |

Le Tour de Langkawi Stage 5 Kota Bahru - Kuala Terrenganu
Moving onto to stage 5 now and the whole team began to look like they were recovering on the flat.
Today was a flat short stage and the sprinter would probably be able to take it.
A small move went early on... They were caught long before the finish.
The yellow jersey took the stage proving hes in top shape...
There was also a gap between him and the rest of the bunch so now his got bags of time in hand!
