Wow Hoeness got now really jailed for 3 and a half year, tax evasion in 7 cases (years) of 27,2m€.
I guess it's going into revision but I doubt that will be granted.
The case is a bit hard to explain:
Hoeness was some stock market gambler making over 50.000 moves over 7 years.
He won a lot of money with it but well hasn't paid the taxes for it but also lost a lot of money in the later years but here it doesn't mind if you lost in the end money than making more money because in the first place you would have need to pay the taxes.
Germany has got a problem with tax evasion as a lot of ("rich" people here having a bank account in Switzerland/Luxemburg/Liechtenstein to evade taxes in Germany.
Some german states thought it would be a good idea to buy stolen! data from Swiss bank companies where they can then identify Germans who are living in Germany but with the bank account in Switzerland, evading to pay taxes.
Actually this is not allowed and is a criminal offence, so the states would be also "criminals" but well.
Some magazines like "Stern" investigated there and got a story about Hoeness possible tax evasion where then Hoeness who got the information there could be something felt to be urged to let set up a self-indictment for tax evasion.
This country thinks it would be a good idea to allow this to get actually some of the not paid taxes back, the self-indictment allows unhonest tax payers to reveal their bank accounts somewhere else and pay the taxes they avoided and for that they evade jail.
Hoeness self-indictment was so unprofessional, probably too late just half a day before the Stern came up with the story and even hided more money just a week before the trial, the first number was just 3,5m€ tax evasion. So that made the self-indictment absolutely non-effective.
Whats more ironic about this case is that Honess always said that criminals should not have a place in football. He said that once when the potential new Bundestrainer Christoph Daum 2000 was found to have a drug addiction, thats how Völler was allowed to stay as the Bundestrainer 2001. Hoeness said he won't like to step down but let the members of Bayern vote if he should stay.
And the members of course don't want him to leave.
But I guess he might still get the boot at least as a member of the executive board because Audi and Adidas members there wouldn't allow criminals taking charge of a company. But the members would vote him to continue as a president
And whats more ironic: If Honess wouldn't have moved a finger it wouldn't have really come out.

Nothing is like the Bundesliga.. in a negative way:
- Bayern looks already like this year champions with the league in general too weak for them
- Dortmund in a crisis, 7 points from 7 games is surely not something they like
- Schalke inconstant
- HSV still looking like a relegation team (the only team in the Bundesliga since the 1st season without relegating)
- Bremen looks like the 1st relegated team and its 10 years ago they were double winners and regulary in the champions league
- Stuttgart the same like Bremen, surprising champions of 2007 and now in deep problems
- Paderborn looking like Augsburg when they first promoted to the Bundesliga, immediate relegation candidate by the media but surprising week in and week out
- Wolfsburg now spending the money but without any good results so far
- Next year probably one of the first Red Bull affilates coming into the Top 7 of the football leagues in the world
If it stays like now, Hoffenheim and Gladbach would be in the Champions League :S

RB Leipzig aren't guaranteed promotion, 2. Liga being pretty open. I really hope they stay down for another while, but well, they'll get promoted at some point, sadly.
As for my own team: Everyone hoped that with von Ahlen there we could gt some sort of a run going, especially after a good 2-0 home victory over Fürth, but losing 2-0 in Aalen yesterday stopped that. For the second away match in a row, we've been denied a clear goal.
On the plus side, Rubin Okotie's been outstanding for us so far, scored 6 (?) goals for us already in the league, that kid's simply gifted. Behind that it's a bit thin. Angha and Schindler have been good, Kagelmacher makes too many mistakes, Sanchez and Bedia seem like decent additions, and it's good to have a home grown young player in the starting line up with Weigl. Rama and Adlung however clearly don't fit the 4-3-3 we played yesterday, and would better be used in say a 4-3-1-2 with Adlung as a No 10 behind Rama and Okotie. Alternatively, Rodri, Leonardo, and Bobby Wood all are good attacking options currently on the bench.

I would be happy, if RB Leipzig could pull this off this season.

Are you from Leipzig? Seems like the only justification for saying something like that, to me.

Wouldn't be too quick with Bremen, Rin.
They had a tough schedule with Europa league ambition teams except of yesterday's match. Barely got more points against those last year.
But I agree. Doesn't look good at all and they really need to collect points soon. Next Bayern, then afterwards they need a series against the weaker half teams.
Otherwise I would need change my weekend schedule next season...
German Bundesliga really is crazy this season. Just look at the table right now nad in especially at the bottom. Last 4 teams all with huge tradition...
No comparison between CL and Bundesliga Dortmund.
Personally it`s nice to see that Bremen won 3 games in a row now (1 cup, 2 league) after not winning any of the first 9 league games. Unfortunately the National Team break is breaking it a bit but it`s a first step.
And last but not least Manuel Neuer has given another bit of his game play this weekend. Just give him the FIFA Ballon d'Or award this year for his awesome season. Time to not only reward goals alone.
Bundesliga as always bit crazy. Borrusia will at the end of the day be fine, however the question is can the gap to top 3 be closed? It can, but it won't be easy that's for sure. Today already huge match with Gladbach, a win is a necessity.
Gladbach is probably my favoruite team in the Bundesliga at the moment, like their players alot. Bit of foreign flair with Rafael Hazard Traore, some great German talent, Hermann Hahn Kruse and Krammer all quality players. Solid defence and a very good keeper. Although my two favoruite players have to come from Hoffenhaim, Firmino and Volland. Volland will have tough job of making German squad, but got the quality.
Meanwhile Firmino is really one of most underrated playmakers at the moment. He assists and he scores. Why wasn't he in Brazil I think no one knows. Should be linked with big teams after this season, he's been phenomenal.
Schalke the big disappointment so far in the league alongside Dortmund. I think Wolfsburg looking good for the CL spot. Very solid team and if they only had a much better striker I would fancy their chances a lot more. De Bruyne Perisic Gustavo is one hell of midfield.

Don`t ignore the Lord.
Top4 would be enough for Dortmund to make the CL Quali.
But this won`t happen this year I guess. Both Schalke and Dortmund and eventually even Leverkusen will fight for Europa League spots only I guess. Schlake could even fail completely this year. And I guess one big team will go down to League 2 this year. Won`t be Dortmund, but either Bremen, Hamburg or Stuttgart will go down I guess.
