How do you want to win without climer? Maybye you don't want to win that race?
I´d like to win every race, but sometimes it can´t possible. Financial situation of my team is poor, I can´t buy or sign any real star or rider with ability to win big race...maybe in future? |

Stage 5 - disaster for favourites
Short and flat stage, what dramatic could happen?
Whole stage was stigmatized by many falls, Bradley Wiggins crashed first.
We could see massive fall with 7km to go, more then 50 riders were there. Ryder Hesjedal was one of first victims...
...Champion and Monfort fell just few moments later. Numbers 1, 3 and 4 have lost almost 3min today!!!
Only 86 riders were classified with same time, Jimmy Casper took stage win.

Stage 6
Penultimate stage of Tour was calm, nothing important happened. I recognized it doesn´t make sense to built sprint train in extreme level, riders in front are tired too early and can´t follow in last meters.

Ghyselinck and Vanmarcke are back in TOP10! Last stage is hilly, I believe both will maintain their positions at least.

Stage 7
Last stage of Canadian tour is hilly, suited perfectly to my team, I feel I could make good result today!
Another favourite is down, David Le Lay have just buried his chances for good result, fallen from 5th place.
Last hill until finish, Vanmarcke with Ghyselinck control situation in front, when Ryder Hesjedal (red jersey) launches attack!
Sep Vanmarcke counters...
...goes over him, continues with marvelous effort...
...bridges big gap in few moments...
...and takes great win, securing U25 jersey and 3rd place overall!!!
Hesjedal takes 2nd place with same time as 3rd Monfort. Oscar Sevilla keeps his overall victory.

Definitely great tour for us with unexpected podium place in GC. Now we are moving (with much higher selfconfidence) to England for last preparation before another season goal. |

Short and flat race, poor competition (only 77 riders participated), great chance for my team to show sprint abilities!! But I have no rider with 77\76 sprint as today´s winner Joachim Tolles and have to wait yet. However Vanmarcke finished as 3rd, it´s good result too.

Today we are joining second part of Abergavenny festival of cycling - Robert Price Grand Prix of Wales. This race is last preparation before classic cobble race Halle - Ingooigem, starting the day after tomorrow. My riders are in top shape and race profile with some small hills and downhill finish should suit to them.
Jef Peeters joined early breakaway group.
Florian Stalder, possibly biggest favourite, attacks in penultimate climb! Interesting move.
Due to increased pace, Peeter´s group was caught. Stalder is now alone in front, but with only minimal advantage.
Strong group of about 15 riders is forming after last summit in front! Vanmarcke with Ghyselinck (despite big difficulties) are in! Only flat part followed by final descent remain.
Newton tries his luck with 10km to go. No chance.
Vanmarcke recovered a bit during last km and his time is coming, Sep launches attack in downhill!
No one can stop him, looks like another great victory for my small team!
Bad luck for Morizot and Persson in sprint. They burned their chances in last km...
That´s it, Sep Vanmarcke takes win!!!
