Stage 1
Long flat stage, perfect for long breakaway and mass sprint
O´Reilly, Jernov, Holt and Partridge are man in today´s early breakaway.
Elia Rigotto stays calm while he is falling down...
Breakaway group had up to 14 minutes advantage, but was caught and Guennadi Mikhailov was the fastest ahead of Fran Ventoso and Jochen Summer in mass sprint.

Stage 3
Queen stage with some hard climbs. Unfortunately last 50km is almost flat. We´ll fight for climber jersey and at least position(s) in TOP10 or better.
Our men worked hard in the front, so no early breakaway could happen. Manuel Medina takes max points on first summit.
Medina wins another mountain sprint ahead of De Bonis.
De Bonis strikes back and wins mountain sprint #3, Medina is 2nd. Peloton is still all together.
Another mountain sprint and again - 1. De Bonis 2. Medina, it is really hard fight.
The hardest part of stage and De Bonis attacks again!
And now it´s Schär with Rujano!
Rujano is better climber, drops Schär and catches De Bonis.
But De Bonis takes another mountain sprint victory. He seems unbeatable today. Peloton finally splitted to several parts, first group is about 1 minute behind leading duo.
Group of chasers splits in downhill, Unfortunately Medina lost contact with first part.
Leading duo is catched by chasers, but De Bonis attacks again!
And Niermann with Ginanni follow him!
Tjallingii is next!
And finally Iglinskiy, Scarponi and Martens. Front group is broken, other Astana boys stopped relay immediately. Rujano can do nothing on flat
All attackers formed in one group, but De Bonis starts struggling finally.
Niermann and Iglinskiy attack front group!
But Tjallingii with Ginanni could respond, now we have four riders in front.
Meanwhile....Rujano is struggling, even Medina is in group before him.
Maxim Iglinskyi wins this stage and takes yellow jersey! Ginanni is second, Rabo boys takes 3rd and 4th positions.

Stage 5
Last stage of tour with some mountain sprints, Manuel Medina will try to fight for pink (KOM) jersey.
Medina takes 6 points on 1st summit, De Bonis is third with 2 points. De Bonis 52 - Medina 46 at this moment.
Berthou attacks in descent, noone follows him.
Berhou wins second mountain sprint, Medina takes 2 points for 3rd place. Only one mountain sprint is ahead of us, I´m very pessimistic about Medina´s chances to gain KOM jersey.
Dyatchenko attacks, Weissinger follows.
And both attackers catch Berthou.
8 men jumped from peloton. Martens and Ginanni are there!
And attack changes another attack! Now it is Roels from Milram.
Leading group is driven by single riders.
Rujano decided that is the right time for attack! Scholz, Iglinskiy and few other counters.
Very strong group formed in front and work hard together, Rujano is there! Niermann attacked peloton, but his chances to catch leading group is small.
Last mountain sprint, Medina lost his chances for pink jersey. Some riders drop out from leading group, Niermann is still alone between group and peloton.
2km to go, Rujano is well positioned, but he is not sprinter.
Easy victory for Roels, Gottfried accelerates on left side...
...and is 2nd, Ginanni 3rd, Fischer 4th and Rujano 5th. WTF? Fischer is that guy in black\yellow jersey. Referees must be blind.
Niermann finishes with loss over 1 minutes and lost yellow jersey! Terrible performance for strong Rabobank team. Maxim Iglinskiy is a winner!

This race doesn´t fit in my plans, but I forgot to cancel registration in time. Rujano and Medina stays at home, Vasquez, Delgado, Chacon and Contreras will abandon in stage 1. Only our young riders, Rivas and Abreu, will ride whole tour. I´ll simulate race from stage 2.
Stage 1
Peloton split to two parts due to strong side wind. Bak is fastest in finish.

August 2009
And here it is, last month of riding. We´ll close our season in Clasica Ciclista los Puertos at 23th of August. Our sponsors want to see us in TOP5 - it´s our last season´s goal. We´ll join 2 French races, Paris - Correze and Tour de l´Ain and Tour of Utah before. We hope in some good results, I mostly forgot last podium place |

I've also just tried playing with Gobernación, and Goddam***! the sponsors are hard to satisfy. I completed alle the goals, got podiums for all the important races, even won some more AND a stage in the Vuelta.
Sponsorconfidence at the end of the season = Poor.
Great story and great team - like your SSs

thanks
It´s just impossible to keep sponsors happy in small team with only few riders. Hope second season, if I won´t be sacked, will be better. I have already signed few new riders and would like to sign some more. And I´m now much more experience, how fatigue system works and so on. My inexperience caused that my men haven´t used their potential almost whole season. Maybe then I´ll be able to complete all goals as you did
