I don't think Rogers can beat Leipheimer in the TT. Leipheimer is probably one of the only riders peaking here, or having arleady a very good condition. Apart from some Americans I think no-one is making this their goal, unlike Levi.

Thomas Peterson won it, he was in the break all day. On the final climb Levi closed a 4 minute gap, however no one really knows the official gaps the providers are shit. Levi put max effort in to what was at one point 3 mins, but then it ended up being 17 seconds. Then 20... Its a load of bull. I know the weather was shit, but even when the sky was clear the picture was choppy. There isnt enough Moto Cameras so you are stuck with 20 mins of the same picture. Come on. Also Levi, i told you so. All credit to Peterson though, he got it exactly right. Nothing wrong with sitting on Levi when he needed to gain time and Peterson had been out nearly the entire stage. |

Peterson of Garmin won the stage. Levi just behind in second. A group of riders including Rogers, Armstrong and Horner came in at 17 seconds behind them. Mancebo was more than a minute back, so Levi took yellow. |

Not even close to the coverage on Belgian tv or eurosport.
It explains the many distorted and weird views americans like t-baum have on cycling, they think versus is good |

My bad. Thought you were comparing the channels as wholes, not just cycling coverage.
You can't really compare Eurosport's coverage of cycling to Versus. Just the fact that almost every single country in Europe has it's own commentators analysing the races makes it impossible to compare.

Don't forget that Rogers as an australian shows up in a very good form at the beggining of the season as he's already proved earlier. However it's hard to tell if he can make a real opponent to a peaking Leipheimer... but he's one of the main candidates that's for certain!

+ Every major european race and even branching out into smaller races (Qatar, California, Burgos, Paris-Bruxelles).

Verus has its moments. Their tour cover is good. But its just an Ad-fest with Bob rolls stupid theories. Eurosport have and Ad break like every 30 mins and its about 45 seconds long. Im not blaming versus for not getting time checks thats the organisers fault. |

Agreed. I don't think we're to underestimate Rogers. If he's back at the form and abilities we've seen a few years ago, he could go and win this.
That said, Leipheimer is, of course, the favourite |
