I haven't seen it too, but I was aware that their team is weak, when you have Ingstadbjoerg, Eikeland and Flatland on the three first stages, it is meant to go worse than worst. And still the norwegian commentators are talking about that they thought Norway could have got a podium place today
And I'm not too sure of the men's relay, especially if Andresen is going for it....
PS: That was great shooting by Norway on this standing shooting, 5 right away, one more banana for that. |

I haven't seen such a good performance for Norway at ages . But the men's relay will satisfy you, I predict.
Makarainen did a great job. She was perfect and she even left Henkel behind.
She was just lucky!!
Nobody drops Henkel!
Tommorow Norway and Bjoerndalen will dominate!

I think it is Svendsen, Hanevold, Andresen and Der Meister!
Or Svendsen, Os, Hanevold and Der Meister! I bet on this!
Or Svendsen, Os, Andresen and Der Meister!
You can decide what you like best

Then i had right about my bet.
It's all on Os. If he hits all the target we might win

Well, here's the startlist: https://services.biathlonresults.com/r...RLCP05SMRL
It's all on Hannevold, for the second place, and how he deals with Eberhard (the weaker of his team) and Ferry. Now, watching the startlist, my bet goes to Russia

If you have watched the other relays you see that Eberhard isn't that bad! He skiied faster than Hanevold and Yaroshenko last relay! He havent missed in shooting in Relay this year eather..

I didn't say he was bad. I said he is, theoretically, the less good of his team.
Now, in a second look, he has the easiest job of his team. |

Russia is big favourites in my opinion, Austria and Norway are outsiders.
For Norway it is Hanevold that is the question mark I think, he has to ski faster than he has done before this season. I think Os will be good for tomorrow. To be honestly, I wonder why Berger is not instead of Hanevold. It would have been smart to test him out on a relay in front of the Worlds |

You're right, ember.
In Berger's last relay he was incredibly fast but he had a penalty lap. |

But on the other hand; Berger's shooting is a real threat for a good spot, but I think when he is shooting great many times in a row, his self-confidence will get a huge boost, and he will be safe on himself. That would have been amazing, since can very easily make 4 golds in the worlds (sprint, mass start, relay and the one after a sprint, don't remember the name) He just needs to do normal, that's enough for him, and I know he is able to do it, he is actually a very good shooter, but when he "forgets" what to do, he's missing the targets. |

Pursuit.
But why don't he concentrate on cross country? |

Probably since he thinks biathlon is twice as fun, and if he should concentrate on cross-country, he has to be good in classic, because you don't win much if the only thing you can do is skating, and not sprinting good. He was actually good in classic at junior age, he took silver in the junior-norwegian championships at a point, but then he more or less left cross-country and went "all in" for biathlon. And I'm so happy for that, it is beautiful to see when he makes a good race in biathlon |

Whats the point? How many times have Berger ruined for the Norweagian Relay team with to many mistakes? He dont deserves it. He just gonna lose time! Hanevold allways do a good relay race maybe he lose some to the best we can trust him since it is never to much time!
Os is like Berger but not as fast. Os miss on shooting range often to. Hanevold never gets a penalty lap like Berger, Andresen and Os. So ofcourse they need to keep Hanevold!
And you say he skii very fast ofcourse, but it depends on who he is racing vs.. If it is Tchouvdov then he dont got a chance to get back what he lost on shooting range..

I feel I have got very unlucky season. It started bad before Christmas at the first norwegian cup round with a 12,5 km with 1 minute penalty each miss. I skiied very fast, but I couldn't hit them, I only got 11/20, and that's not good. Next morning when the sprint on 7,5 km was I was bad in my throat and had headache. I wasn't allow to start of my trainers, (one of my trainers is very, very well-known in Europe)
It seemed to be a smart move to not start as I got sore throat, and fever. That lasted to Boxing Day, but when I thought I had recovered, I hadn't, I did still have fever.....so then I wasn't allowed to train before 6th of January, and I couldn't take part in the second round of the Norwegian Cup. Now I'm going all in and shell try to be in top form to the norwegian junior championship, that is from 26th February - 1st March. Hopefully I can do well
Biathlon: I think past is past, and if Berger is shooting good many times in a row, then he has deserved a place in the relay team.
Norway are doing good now Hopefully Hanevold won't screw it up

Hanevold impressed, well done to him He is definately in for the relay and Berger is definately out
OEB impressed in skiing today, but the standing shooting was not so good, even though he knew he was going to win, I think he is "angry" about the two misses. |

Yeah. But OEB is useally very good in standing shooting so that will be no problem in the sprint
