Gorazd Stangelj: There is a lot of pressure on us for this race after the recent disappointments. We need a bounce back performance!

Marko Polanc: This is a chance for Tadej to go up against the PCT elite and see where he stacks up. We would also like to see him score his first U25 jersey of the season. Nur Aiman will try to go for the two flat stages, if he can survive the early mountains.

Dunno what's up with Beltran this year, although I'm seeing the same with De Plus (similar riders, but with Beltran's wage it's really sad ).
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Thanks for the commiserations
Best not to think too hard about it and hopefully I pull through the season with a total team effort to save me from relegation.

Start | End | | Race | Category | 08-Jun | 14-Jun | | Tour de Suisse | 2.PTHC | 17-Jun | 22-Jun | | Tour of South Africa | 2.1 |
A 2nd appearance for our team at the Tour de Suisse, but this time we have a chance to score some points in what is now a PTHC categorised race. The only other race in the month of June is the Tour of South Africa. It's not a typical sort of race for our team historically, but we might be better suited to it than we were in the past.
Start | End | | Race | Category | 01-Jul | | | Uppsala Classic | 1.2 | 03-Jul | 23-Jul | | Tour de France | 2.GTM | 16-Jul | 19-Jul | | Tour of Lithuania | 2.PTHC | 21-Jul | | | Windhoek TTT | 1.1 |
July is a busier month and follows the team time-trial theme. First we go to Sweden for the last of our mandatory C2 races. Then the big one...
Tour de France!
A 2nd Grand Tour appearance and again at the biggest race of all. While primarily a race to develop our talents, we won a stage 2 years ago and we will try to repeat that feat again. And while having fun in France, our time-trialing focus will be in Lithuania and Windhoek, Namibia.

Martin Hvastija: Without a sprinter we are fully focusing on the last three stages. On paper our 'protected' riders are Tadej, Milos and Izidor, but we will see where we stand after the all important time-trial.

Marko Polanc: We realize we are going up against some of the best PT riders in this race. Getting a high GC placing is unlikely, but we might have more freedom in an attacking role. And we are always looking to score some depth points.

Gorazd Stangelj: This is another good opportunity to see how far our revamped team time-trial can take us. That stage will likely be key as we look to support David Gaudu to a good GC result.

I admit that I hadn't really noticed, but you put together a really solid TTT core. Let's see how far they can carry Gaudu in South Africa. I guess he might lack some top-end speed on the hills, but if you get a good advantage from the TTT, then who knows...
Btw, congrats on a great voting result for your HQ, looks like I should shorten my own posts if I want to be competitive next year

While I love Gaudu, I fear that he'll be torn to pieces by that TTT machine. With only 7 riders he won't have a lot of skips either, so I could see him being shed out the backdoor. Fingers crossed he won't!

That's the plan

Well I voted for your HQ, so I'm a bit sad you didn't do better
Also if I could write longer posts I would, but I don't possess nearly the same writing prowess you do

I hope you're wrong

Great result in Austria. Norway was also already great, so let's see what the other two races gets you

Some real Norway greatness! Great team performance in the GC and during the stages, with a lovely stage win for Tadej as well. Seems like your men really like the cold north

Indeed. I can't remember doing this well at a race for two years in a row
