Yeha, i was wondering earlier why you guys didn't think valverde could win. Its a relatively easier course than year's past. and there are a lot of stages where he can just attain time bonuses. He seems to have the acceleration to mark contador well. Thats just my analysis. |

Kaggestad is supposed to be a time triallist

Freire seemed highly uninterested in the sprint today, hanging at the back, chatting with Barredo.
If Haedo has the legs to be there at the end, he's a huge danger for the stage. That's a big if, though. Especially after he crashed in the ENECO

Who knows. maybe he's got back trouble again. or knee trouble again. The man's always injured. After he was world champ the last time, he's missed all 3 worlds since because of injury.

No, not really.
Freire took it easy after the olympics, and told Rabo he will be in form later this Vuelta, to test for the worlds. But he said not to expect anything the first week. |

Either way, it looked funny with Freire at the back of the peloton chatting with someone else, not caring at all about a potential stage win. I couldn't help laughing at the commentators who couldn't find any explanation for his weird behaviour |
