Tell me about it...I finished right now an Elimination, made 3rd, two guys playing team blocked me (well, technically, one of them blocked me, when I was overtaking the other).

I have to say. If Mrfredtheboob is on the team there will be a big moral loss. I think he should not allowed to join as he is an ass and to put it nicely sucks balls.

What ths point putting the effort in, He was crap when we played properly so it doesnt matter he will just suck and get eliminated. |

I second what Smoothie said: Teamplay is vital.
If we cant play as a team, our chances will be very limited.
So if somebody completely screws the team tactics, he should not be picked for the race.
I have not raced with mrfredthebob, and it's fine he can take part in the qualifiers I think. But, when the 8 are selected and practice together, and if it then becomes obvious someone is not part of the team, he should be kicked and replaced. |

I played with the best of NCL yesterday.
In the prelimins I finished first with 110 points of my group. In the final I finished 2nd (stupid loss in the final, could've won easily but got blocked), 3rd (blocked again), and 4th (blocked.)
Finished 2nd behind Savo, so as expected, Savo is their best man. From what I could see, Messi is not as good as Alex, but Messi is a very nasty blocker, went out early though.
Joem is pretty good in final sprints and Savo is the same as me
Good blockers on NCL side:
-Messi (super annoying)
-The Sim (super annoying)
Good players:
-Savo (the best)
-Joem
-Malinwa (if he gets the room) |

I've only played Savo, Messi and Sim in your special list Ruben. Savo is obviously very good, Messi is decent, I own him at keirin () but I can't remember his elimination, Sim eraser, I beat him a few days ago over a 3 rounder...
I doubt I will get through the qualifiers but If I do, I should beat Sim
I think the people who get places in our team are:
Ruben
Alex
Smoothie
Jolly (if we're allowing Portuguese people)
mrlol
Crue
Crue and mrlol aren't as good as the Ruben's and the Alex's but they are very consistent

mrfredthebob can't do anything on his own, once I played with him in an keirin game, he led-out the host(KaneY) or blocked the others for him.

We just played against Savo and some other non-NCL players. Savo did win the 1st race, but somehow missed out and was eliminated in the 2nd or 3rd round in the 2nd race. No doubt he's good, though. |

Im not consistent at all But at least I beat Savo in the 2nd round - despite coming 11th.
I will need to put in plenty of practice ahead of the qualifiers

im consistent too.5th and 6th. I had no hope in 1st round because i had little energy but in 2nd round i was almost full energy.

Well I had no hope either as I was randomly spat out of the game after the first lap of the first round; yet the AI me managed to come 3rd in the 2nd round and help mrlol a lot apparently
That could be a good plan, if you aren't on good form, disconnect and let the AI you, do well

Messi had a very bad day yesterday, normally he acts a lot better, but it's not the first time that he has a complete off-day, he isn't very consistent. But he is tactical and technical good enough to be in de top 10 of the world.
Besides that, not every good ncl player was there yesterday. We have a lot of people with the level of a sim-eraser, joem etc. Some of them are on holiday.
But we have no difficulties to set up 8 decent players. We have players enough to choose.
