Lost my 2nd online match. It's really difficult to play online when the game lags as much as it does. |

the lag was on the PS2. I haven't seen anyone complain about lag except CrueTrue, so if it's one person, it's probably his connection.

no the online play has terrible lag on pc. It was actually better before the patch
Very frustrating when you think you've won the ball, and are running upfield when it suddenly cuts back to your goal mouth, the stikers 1 on 1 and your defenders running upfield away from him
Its almost showing you what could've been...its crap for dribbles too, cos you cant rely on timing or the position of the opposition :x
Totally unplayable! |

just to prove how cool I think the facescan thing is, here's the face of borat as I've just put it in PES (I used a pic from google, not my webcam, obviously )

I knew I forgot something on that list...the V-feint. as you're doing a dragback, immediately press a direction 45ΒΊ from where you're facing

It's probably because I'm on my wireless connection and I'm not anywhere near the router I'll try again later with the LAN-cable in. |

The facescan is absolutely marvellous. My entire football squad is now assembled to replace one of the mediocre teams of the game. And it works really really well.
I play the game in 640x480 because my laptop stinks, but I really should buy a PS3. How much is it for a PS3 these days? |

They have just released a new version of the PS3 in Denmark with fewer USB-ports and a smaller hard disc. There's probably also some other downgrades, but anyway -- the new one costs 3300 DKR. |

Nope. Like Britain, we have reservations in the EU cooperation. One of them is not to be a part of the economical part of EU |

Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka, aka the genius in charge of everything in PES, says that their aim was to build the "Pes to end all Pes". not in a terminal sense, but in the sense of the best ever, unbelievably good.
however, he says that it takes two years. however, the marketing people forced him to release a mid-stage version, which is clearly far from finished and quite buggy (PES 2008). so "we did the best we could with the time we had"
meaning: look out for PES 2009

I hope he is right, because PES 08 is the worst version since years. |
