Just to let you know Jape. I edited moral, fitness, fatigue, and a programme and they all worked perfectly. The only thing is that it won't let me get rid of the programme all together I can only change it.other then that Good work Jape.

Okay, it seems to work quite well. However, there's some things which I can't really get to work. For the fun of it, I tried to remove Omloop Het Volk from CSC's list of races. In the manual, it says that "Changes when a race invitation is removed are reflected when you save and reload the savegame". So, I saved it and reload it, but it's still on CSC's race list.
Everything else seems to work. I do get some error boxes once in a while, but they don't seem to have any effect. But that might just be me  |

did you try to transfer any free riders to a team, i think that having an individual panel to transfers would be much better..

Hmm, i can't reproduce your problem Karl, i tested it on several free riders, transfered them to several teams and it all works like a charm. Did you try editing other things and save them to see if those changes do get saved, cause else it might be Vista working with a virtualized copy of your cdb. Also are you using PCM Daily's DB ?
@Cruetrue, you probably tried doing it when the wild cards have already been handed out. You have to do it before the wild cards are handed out cause after that the invitations get stored in the Team_Race table. The remove and add invites options work on the Race table where all pre-invited subscribtions are loaded from. Try removing an invitation of a race say one moth ahead, you'll see it will work then.
@Matt, also can't seem to reproduce this one, i tried it on my own savegame removing both Menchov's and Flecha's race programmes and they both dissapeared completely, did you save and reload it ?
BTW, have already removed a couple more minor bugs, depending on how much time i have this week i'll MAYBE add stats editing option and in any case add the option to ignore the worldmap error thingie described on page 8 somewhere cause that can be pretty annoying whilst the impact is minimal. Will try to PM you the for now final version tomorrow or the day after that Cruetrue

Hey, the computer im trying isn't hooked up to the internet, neither does it have the new framework the program needs to run (Microsoft framework 3.5)
Is there anyway for you to send the framework downloader that doesn't have to connect to the internet to run? thanks

It wasn't that it didn't work when I played my career but when I tried to remove it it came up with some error. I don't really care because I can edit it and I'd rather be bale to edit it. Great work Jape. I know you have put a lot of effort in it.

You can download it from the internet on the computer you're writing from now, place it on a USB-key and install it on your PCM-computer. |

I seem to have the same problem. I cant transfer a "free rider" to a team. I am using pcm daily database and have vista. I am at the end of first season and dont seem to be able to go to the "contracts" page and/or to transfer any rider at all.
Some error messages here and there. But they are in german so wont help you much i think |

maybe its just a vista thing, also when you set a rider as something e.g a free rider to team mate, and you cant transfer him to any teams, he doesnt show up as free rider anymore and there is no way to change him back as when you go to the select rider profile typ sub menu you can only chose leader, luxury teamate, helper etc so theres no way of getting him back to a free rider. i think it would be all round easier if the transfers part of your dashboard had its on page as its a major part of the dashboard and many people are struggling to use it. otherwise i think its great

Just post the errors anyway, the german is not a problem and also i'd need the error code in any case (Location XX-99). If you don't mind (same goes for you Karl) post or pm me your savegame and tell me which cyclist/team you tried to edit so i can reproduce it. Cause in this case i might not be able to reproduce it without a savegame that is at the end of a season.
And i don't think i'll change the layout atm Karl, your idea is nice but the way i've tried to structure the program is that all editable things are displayed on a seperate form where all non-editable things are on the main form. I know it doesn't matter much but being the GUI-fetish guy i am i really wanna keep it seperated. Another reason for not changing it is that in essence it is a 'career data extraction tool' with some editing capabilities although i know most people tend to think it is a savegame editor first.
@Wackojack, if you're talking about wildcards, wait till the wildcards have been handed out and then when you're a couple of days away from the race, click the "set invited" button on the race page of your team. You do have to apply for a wildcard though, so if you get refused then you can change it to granted. The other way to do this is at the beginning of a season add an invitation with the "add invitation" button. In any case you should be carefull using this cause having too many invited teams in a race will crash the race ! |

The only way would be like Cruetrue proposed. Download it, put it on USB stick or CD or something and install the Framework from there. You have to download the Full Redistributable Package though. It's on the same page as the original one here(click for link) but you'll need to download from the link near the bottom of the page that says full redistributable package, with which you can install it right away instead of trough a download from the internet.
