Luckily, terrorists don't come in such huge numbers as hooligans.
On the other hand, I don't know which is worse. terrorist who use violence to achieve a ideological aim or hooligans who use violence as entertainment.
Well, violence stays violence. It doesn't matter what the goals are when the way to achieve these goals are hurting other people.

There both as bad as each other.

Very enjoyable match between Turkey and Croatia. High intensity, but not overly unfair imo. I really underestimated Croatia, very strong showing, could've been 2:0 or 3:0, although Turkey didn't play badly at all. And Corluka is crazy

Imo, Turkey was surprisingly bad, but still a nice performance by Croatia. And yeah ÄŒorluka was awesome! |

I expected more from Turkey, too, they especially defended horribly. But overall in my opinion it was rather Croatia playing really well than Turkey playing that badly. If they get their shit together defensively, they still have a chance for 3-4 points against Spain and the Czech, I think.

In my opinion, Turkey was bad. To many long balls. To many missed passes. Not a single cross reached the attackers. Too many fouls. Bad tackles. To many (failed) dribbling. Pointless substitutions. And not all of this was because of superior Croatia players. |

Wow, the German defending was really terrible so far, I didn't expect a lot, but this was even worse then expected.
And still, they lead |

On a pretty off topic note, do any of you know any Swedish football blogs or something like that? People are trying to organize a minutes applause at the Ireland - Sweden game for the Northern Irish fan who died in Nice, so it'd be great if there'd be a way to get word out to the Swedish fans too.

Despite some flaws, Germany was great to watch again. Creative passing, fast paced attacks... Schweinsteiger doing his thing again. Neuer with some nice saves.
Still I do miss Lahm in this squad, a lot! |

Neuer needs to stay in his box. He's too keen to come running out and be centre of attention. Very lucky not to concede a couple of goals and it puts doubt in his defenders minds if they never know what he is going to do. |

1970 calls and wants his goalkeepers back!
Seriously, Hummels and Boateng play some years already in front of Neuer and normally know him very well, yesterday there were some misunderstandings because Mustafi played instead of Hummels and they didn't match up completely. |

I think it's UEFA's fault for introducing this new format. With 16 teams out of 24 going through to the knockout stages, if you draw all three games you're 80% likely to go through. That means teams are happy to sit back and take a draw and play it safe. |

You even watch the games? Germany - Ukraine was pretty damn good, 2 attacking sides, best playing teams I've seen so far.

Yes, very passive match by the Czechs so far, thought Vrba would try to let play more aggressive and brave. |

Me too, but that is hard with 1500 passes by Spain in one match. You dont have the ball for five minutes and suddenly you have to create something, very hard...
