Kreuziger spoke a bit about his program for the first half of the year. Biggest goal is to help Contador in July at TdF, but they will meet race wise only in Basque country in April, apart from that, they will have different schedules.
He should be leading Tinkoff at Tirreno and during spring hilly classics and says he is happy with his preparation and first race in Andalucia.
Who knows what will happen with Tinkoff team, he is also on last year of his contract, so i would expect some crazy shit form him...so either big win,or positive.

Scheldeprijs is reworking its finale as well as dropping the number of teams from 25 to 22, hoping to make the race safer.
Liege-Bastogne-Liege adds a short cobbled (!!!) hill 3km from the finish.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's not exactly the Kwaremont or Kemmelberg. It's certainly more "urban" cobbles which are fairly level. It will provide a chance to shake things up but it won't suddenly bring Tomeke or Spartacus to contention.

Notable interesting decision that should significantly change the approach of some riders towards the race. I wonder if some classic Ardennes specialists will now due some spring classics in last second? Gilbert, Valv and Nibali certainly should like the news tho.

There also is a difference in cobbles. Cobbled roads or hills are used in so many races, which you would not really mention even.
The real cobbled classics though have lots of bad cobbles with holes etc.
From the first videos/pictures I`d say it`s an okay cobbled sector, that shouldn`t play a big role in comparison to a non-cobbled hill. That said, it might change when it rains. |

Good news.Hoping the race finishes with a downhill so if the riders who are terrible in the cobbles can attack at Saint-Nicolas if they want to win.And hoping it rains so that there would be some selection in that climb |

Meh without his daily dose of cortisone he isn't going to compete for the win in Liège anyway
I would think that'd change the race a bit. But it probably won't and it'll come down to the final 100m and I guess Gerrans will win it. |

Why should it finish with a downhill? It`s the usual uphill section in the end.

I'd also vote for a non-uphill finish. Why does every race nowadays have to finish uphill. Rubbish, makes for the most boring races.
Why not finish the RvV uphill the Kwaremont? Or Sanremo uphill the Poggio? We still have plenty of opportunities!  |

Wasn't there a while ago a LBL that finished downhilll? I remember playing a LBL in PCM 2008 where it finished downhill. |

I think you're talking about the days when it used to finish in the center of Liege instead of (ugly) Ans. I would call it flat rather than downhill. And my memory also seems to say it changed long before 2008.

Me too thinks that the cobblez won't be close to any danger to the riders (except if it rains), however after so many kilometers long and up, it can certainly make an impact to tired legs because a) significant worse road conditions b) possible positioning for more narrow roads. I welcome the addition and I suppose it can have similiar effect like in Richmond, where most riders attacking in the end where guys with experience on cobblez (2agan, GVA, EBH, Stybar..)
