Would you prefer Kashechkin or other GC-contenders battling for panflat stages?

I though Tour of Canada already showed that's possible. |

Bonsucro's guide to failing at a 21 day stage race:
- Bring the sprinter with the best combo of flat, sprint & acc stats (Don't worry he won't finish higher than 3rd and 9/10 times will be defeated by a sprinter with 61 flat).
- Bring a rider capable of finishing on the GC podium ( Don't worry he will abandon on stage 3 before any GC decisive stages/ will be the only to abandon after 15 stages).
- Bring the aggressive Txurruka, the most aggressive rider in the race. (Don't worry he will be well down in the GC after our an abysmal TTT, due to a certain GC favourite abandoning, and will be one of the least aggressive GC men).
If all goes well, after 15 stages, the most well rounded team to start the race will be outscored/outperformed by every team in the race. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how to fail at a 21 day stage race.

tsmoha - I notice you keep writing wether in the reports. Is that an Aussie word/spelling? In English wether means a castrated ram. See .....

I thought Nateghi would be a little higher placed on average in the flat stages, but I guess not.

Everyone always thinks tsmoha is Aussie, no idea why That said i thought you were always in Germany, guess not. But is that as shocking as finding out Alak was Polish?

I second Miguel's shock! You never can tell!
No probs tsmoha.
Looking forward to some action packed mountain stages coming up, no big passive groups coming home together please. If the race ended right now we would leave with around 70 points, will treat anything more as a bonus from now on, really hoping to move into the GC top 10. |

Ben Dyball's coach - Tough day in the saddle, as expected. Ben suffered but i'm still happy to see him as 5th after the queen stage. Rodas though looked really strong, won't be easy to attack him, i fear. That said, it's about defending 5th on first hand. Kazzinc has shown some smart tactics here and then, so guys like Pozzo and also Agudelo are still a threat... Must say, i'm quite impressed with Haga today. And seeing Eastman trying and looking good after his crash, is nice as well.

Just caught up on the last 2 stages and another win for Thorsen, I'm too excited to see where we are in the rankings update after this, hopefully close to being out of the relegation zone

Not sure if a few stage-wins will lift you up that high, ste But Thorsen scoring unexpected points is of course nice for you. Has Cav any bigger races left?

Faso definitely a chance to score big time. Good luck, anyway
