As a heads up, there'll be no Vuelta stage today. Not sure about tomorrow either.

This is good.
My sprinters and puncheurs will get more rest time before this crazy stage then. Really hope that probably Krieger can survive that stage and then become a top9 sprinter in this field. Highly unlikely I know. |

Wow did not see that one coming. Avelino's positioning has been pretty clever, but I wasn't expecting him to be the sole sprinter to grab a victory besides Mohs so far at least. I'm thrilled with this result, thanks everyone for the nice words.
Hopefully Machado will follow this trend and deliver some badly-needed high profile results as well.
Once again thanks for the report SN and for letting us know your reporting status for the weekend. It's truly admirable your dedication for the game

What a massive stage for Alarcon! All-or-nothing attack, and it turned out to be all.
Tenorio having a bad day on the worst possible stage, that'll be quite a fight with no flat TT left.
Regarding OTL, I'm happy for Guerao to survive, but sad Bennati didn't make it. On to the Tour!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
That is freaking awesome!
Now calm, we have the jersey boys we have the jersey - we have all the boys to defend the next four days defend my boys defend. Alarcon here is some cotton wool to sleep in....
...smowz slightly delirious.....

EPIC stage! Most-fun-to-watch of the season! Amazing turnaround by Alarcon and what a ride Denifl is having!!
Also Rasmus Guldhammer sitting nicely in 9th place. First Danish rider in ManGame history since Michael Rasmussen to be up in the GT Top 10s

Epic stage!
I´m surprised to see Alarcon such strong, can he keep the jersey until finish?
Regarding my team, Roche did as expected, hopefully he´ll be agressive in upcoming non-flat stages. Mohs & Degenkolb survived? That´s truly excellent, just pity Maaskant wasn´t able to catch TL as well, he was essential part of my sprint train. However, Lotto´s train is gone, Vesuvio´s one is also hurt, Festina lost Keukelerie (was he part of train though?), some other sprinters missed the cut. I´m curious how situation will look in next stage!!

Excellent work by Camier tot take over the mountains lead, not sure he'll keep it, but I'm just happy to see him trying

Wow! Thanks for the report, SN.
I'm kind of thrilled to see Alarcon really show himself on the biggest scene, congratulations, Smowz!
Decent stuff from Contador, though I must admit I thought he would be able to follow Denifl in the final kilometers, which would have been outstanding considering the GC.
If Alarcon survives the four next stages with the same gap going back to the mountains, he must be the favourite for the overall. But we shall see, after all the red jersey didn't help Tenorio much on the Queen stage. |

Fantastic stage, fantastic report.
Gomez Marchante with a great day passing Faiers and almost having Anton and Valls. So 11th is possible, but top10 goal is too hard I guess.
Krieger also awesome. Hopefully can get a sprint result now. |

Incredible attack from Alarcon and pussy ride from the rest of the GC contenders to allow such a gap. This will be even more interesting in the next days.
Congrats to Red Bull and thanks for the epic reporting of the epic stage.

What a day for PCT team Jaguar!
Great to see Roche taking Maaskant´s role with ease, due to perfect work of our sprint train Mohs almost grabbed another stage win. However, I´m satisfied with 2nd place, as Mohs extended his lead in point competition.

Having survived the hellish Pyrenees the weather gods conspire to give a nasty spell of rain. Still for one brave rider it made a hero, great win for Lagab and reward for Jaguar making up the numbers.
miracle man Mohs almost made it another stage win.
Great to see nice riding from SRB controlling things well with good pace, a safe day in red and it feels so good feeling like that.

Without Bennati.. Basically the only reason why I was at the Vuelta was Bennati at the sprints so I hope someone (very unlikely) pulls off a Marchante somehow?

Lagab really is having a crazy season.
It's been a bit frustrating watching Swift though. He should be doing better, but the Pokerstars train is just too good - and Mohs is riding above himself on top of that too.
