Contador looked hammered, no wonder it took so long.. he still looks kinda messy going uphill, lets hope its just the shock.
Vamos Alberto, Vamos! |

There still are riders that are good for a fight.
It`s Nibali, Valverde, Porte, Mollema, Kwiatowski, Fuglsang, Rolland, Pinot, Van den Broeck, Talansky, TvG.
At least Nibali vs Porte could be interesting plus Kwiatowski if he gets a gap today.
I didn't want Froome to DNF only for Porte to get it gifted somehow in the end.
You think it is bad for you? I have to deal with the Australian cycling media talking Porte up after every stage.

Well, the tour ends today
With Contador out and no reason to attack Nibali can sail to victory.
But at least we have Vuelta because holy cow a race we will see there. Froome, Contador, Rodriguez, Quintana, Valverde

8'27" gap jumped to 8 minutes this way Contador is back before you know it.

While at the same time the peloton is from 5min to 4'30. So not really closing the gap. Won`t make it back I think. |

Imagine the battle we will have at the Vuelta. A fresh Froome, Quintana, Contador and Rodriguez!
I'd rather have an exciting race now, not in the future :/

Would be interesting to know where he is. Between peloton and Contador or even further behind. |

Exactly. They are just riding tempo and Contador is slowly brining it back.
Paul and Phil are saying that they have reports that it was supposedly a snapped frame. Great advertising for Specialized there.

this is so wrong, with tony pushing for kwiatek up front, astana has to keep riding.
i really wanted to see nibbles get a clean win by the smallest possible margin.
guess if i have to look at it from the bright side, ill have to put my danish goggles on, and think that a fuglsang podium is now realistic.. under the saddest possible circumstances.

He probably will but that will be at the end where he will lose so much time that a win is impossible unless Nibali crashes.
And Nibali will just set his team in front now and let them ride and let the others drop. so tonight Nibali will be in yellow with noone to attack him. |

Oh my god imagine it happening on a descent earlier on. Thank god it happened just before that very slow corner |
