you really like colombians
actually, I much prefer Niermann. especially when the other choice is an out-of-form Ardila!

look all im saying is if you were climbing up the alps and you had to choose a partner from a columbian or a german whose first name sounds like a girls.
It would be the columbian.

the thing is...you're not just climbing. there are many types of stages.
you need an all-round rider. Niermann.
you need an experienced helper. Niermann.
you also need someone who climbs reasonably. Niermann.
also, you need someone in form. Niermann.
I'm not a fan of Niermann. but he is clearly the best choice at this moment

Some rumours say that Mark Cavendish hasn't been picked for the final T-Mobile TDF squad. |

not very suprising given his age, but it still would be nice if he got chosen, he has shown he has the talent to beat the big boys, just maybe not make it to the finish |

So the discovery channel team is picked with Levi as leader and names like Popovich, Contador, Hincapie, Noval, Martinez, Gusev, Paulinho, and Vaitkus to help him to the Podium.
Johan Bruhneel listed his favorites for the top five as Sastre, Karpets, Evans, and Menchov. He said that his top three would probably include Vino, Kloden and Levi.
So here is the question. Is Valverde riding, Does Brunheel no think he has the right stuff, or did Valverde slip Brunheels mind? |

As far as I can see everyone is forgetting about Valverde.
Remembering that he has never finished the TDF
think Bruhneels top five looks good. 1st vino podium for Evans and Sastre
Discovery will be interesting to watch to see how the renewed "all for one" stratagy worksn but think if it comes down to teams we need to look at Vino Vs Menchov
any ideas on the green jersey? |

it's surely Freire's time to win the green jersey,
Boonen's crap
Petacchi only performs in the Giro,
McEwen isn't as young as he was,
but i definatley think it's between McEwen and Freire (i would say Cavendish, but he might not ride)
i doesn't look good for Valverde's chances of riding now, so Vino has got to win the yellow jersey, followed by Kloden, and Levi
white jersey for Contador, easily |

On my opinion:
Yellow - Menchov
KOTM - Rasmussen
Green - Friere
White - Dekker
On probable:
Yellow - Evans
KOTM - Rasmussen
Green - Friere
White - Contador. I also like the look of Popovich
