Have to say there's no really atmosphere there, although the location of the circuit is very cool.

I saw Cagliari listed as available twice. Not my fault if the sites are wrong Just use Norisring then, an awesome track with character and excitement and uniqueness.

Race Masters Evolved - Points System
The management of the Race Masters Evolved has announced the points system which will be used. The differences between the points are small. That's to make it a sensational season with the championship decision hopefully in the last race. There are also points available for the pole-position and the fastest lap. That's to make those battles interesting as well. Here is the complete list from the points:

i like the idea to give the drivers with the pole and the one with the fastest lap one point! in real it would suck, but in a simulation, i like the idea! |

Race Masters Evolved - Final Calendar
The final calendar has been announced. This will be the calendar for the first season, which will be hopefully a very nice one. There are fourteen races on thirteen different circuits. Silverstone is twice on the calendar. Compared to the third calendar some races has switched on it and Monza has decided that they don't want to organise a race this season. Maybe it'll come within a few years. Now the calendar has been announced the last test may come up! Also the start list will be posted soon.

Race Masters Evolved - Some More Information
Technical Information
The teams will all drive with motors from Cosworth. Dunlop has made the tyres for this season.
Race Weekend Information
The friday practise will be 50 minutes. The saturday practise is shorter; 35 minutes. Later on the saturday we have a qualification from 25 minutes. On sunday we have a 10 minutes Pre-Race Warm Up. The results of the free practises won't be posted, because it's not possible to simulate them.
The amount of laps for each race aren't sure yet. What can be said is that every race could be driven with or without pit-stop. The length of the races could be driven without a pit-stop or with a pit-stop. That will make races even more interesting, because there are differen strategies and no-one know which one will be the better one. We have a fuel system. That means that the drivers will fuel during the pit-stops.

I'm currently writing the preview for Silverstone and I'd like to have the part 'drivers' opinions'. For that I need a short opinion, from four or five phrases, from some drivers. If you'd like to write one, send me a PM with your driver and his opinion about the circuit. Here's a picture of the circuit.

Hello guys, my name is Seamus Doherty, I'm nineteen years old, and I have just signed for Wolf Motorsports. Growing up, Eddie Irvine was always my big hero. Missing the F1 title by so little in '99 was of course heartbreaking, though I was too young to fully understand it back then. But I always wanted to do better than him, I wanted to be the first Irishman to win the F1! Of course this isn't F1, but it's a great place to start. Before negotiations started, I wanted to drive for one of the British teams, but it was Wolf Motorsports who approached me first, with an offer I simply could not refuse. So now I'm their first driver, with James Harden as my back up. Anyway, that's it for now, see you all at Silverstone!

@Paul: Like you, I'm a noob at paint.NET, so it was quite hard work to get something useable. Thought i'd need something to have as header though.
Your banner is quite nice too! Adding something like that to my sig would be complete overkill though.

@fjhoekie: I don't think so as well, but with the test races (and I can say I've done many races) there were some races where many drivers didn't finished, so points should be possible.
Nice to see people creating special logos/banners for this story.
