It's hard to say if it's actually a good news since we don't know how badly injured he is, nor if or how much he'll be able to recover. |

It's great news indeed. I hope he'll completely recover and will be as before his accident, but I'm not sure that will happen. Nevertheless it's already a step in the good direction.

Are you serious or just trolling?
Of course it is good news, when he wakes up from his coma.

Yes, thats good news but when being in coma the injuries could have been so bad (also helpers not immediately there to help him) that he might have a lot of difficulties to speak, not being able to walk anymore, making facial expressions etc.

Serious. To nit-pick a bit, technically he was out of coma when there were reports about moments of conciousness in April, because obviously you can't have those in a coma.
In the end, I would say the only real news is that he has been relocated to a rehab facility. I can't see where the press statement says anything about his status having significantly improved.
Anyway, keep in mind this is a neurological, not a sports injury rehab. It's not simply about being able to put weight onto your knee again.
Believe me, I would be the first to be euphoric if there were really promising good news. This is not "he'll be back" news.
Rather expect the worst until explicitly stated otherwise.

It indeed is Great news that he has been taken out of the intensive care unit he was in but he now has a massive battle on his hands to try and recover from his injuries |

Yes its great to hear he is out of the coma, but I am almost certain he has to re-learn how to eat, speak and walk again, as I read that previously that's what happens when you are in a coma for as long as he was.

Apparently, they plan to change the restart after the safety car phase for 2015. They want to start from the start grid, so no flying starts any longer. WTF? |

That is actually a safety hazard. The cars (especially the tires) aren't made to get cold like that, and if there are frequent restarts at a track that is prone to safety cars it could just be mayhem.
Completely idiotic.

What I think it's even more pathetic: the reason why. "For the show". WTF? I mean, seriously, are you stupid or what? They are probably thinking that more crashes is more show... Idiots.
And to explain why this is even more stupid: the reason why F1 has lost fans all over the world (besides the fact that since 2000, there seems to be a team willing to dominate each year, minus 2007/2008, and even then, the races weren't the most exciting ones) is that it's pay-per-view. For example, in Portugal, in the early 2000's, until 2006, we had it on "free" TV, on a channel called RTP1. Then, in 2007, Sport TV, that beeing, a channel that, besides the monthly sum that you pay to your TV operator, you have to pay more money to get Sport TV. So, giving my example, my dad didn't put it in 2007 and hasn't put it since then. Damn you Bernie. |

@Miguel: In the Netherlands we also have to pay already to watch Formula One. The only advantage from this is that we don't have advertisement during the race, which takes at least half an hour.
By the way: 2007/2008 weren't the only seasons without domination: 2010 and 2012 were awesome seasons as well. The other seasons were dominated by one team, although 2006 was also not with a complete domination.
About the safety car: I think it's unfair to do a restart on the grid instead of a flying start. When you start on the grid it's way much easier to overtake a few places than with a flying start. It may be more spectacular but it's not fair.

Yes, it is totally unfair.
It will favor drivers who just switched their tires, even more if they switched to super soft.
Drivers might be forced to pit and it can destroy the race tactic totally.
Also it could be used to cheat by making your 2nd driver to crash willingly. |

FIA logic, that's just complete nonsense. I think it's great to see immediate position battles right after a safety car phase, but the FIA seems to have no interest in what the fans want
Anyway, I'm extremely happy that F1 is back in Austria again. For me the A1 is just as nostalgic as Spa

Massa 1st
Bottas 2nd
Rosberg 3rd
Hamilton 9th
Vettel 13th
Damn! A victory for Williams would be nice. I really hope Hamilton finishes in front of Rosberg...
