Different to your two teams I hugely underperformed I guess.
Olivier should have done more than 25th in the end imo as he was always one of the first to be dropped when puncheurs were still climbing.
And except for one top5 Krieger didn`t reach the top10 another time.
Only Koep as 15th was performing very well. Then again he rode in Vesuvio colours.
This last stage was brilliant to play as it was like a real race with lots of selection.

Was a bit of a worry when Shikai got caught in a split, but a great job from the team to bring him back, and eventually put him in a spot where he moved up in the GC. It could have been better, but Im still happy.
More importantly, Kinoshita beat Dombrowski in the GC

I can at least say that Craddock finished in a great position... in 69th. |

Great stuff from Galta today, finally doing something here. At least he can take away a stage top-10 and 12th overall. |

Elissonde is an enigma, I must say. Good race for the Wiki boys. Bardet wasn't bad, but meh from the rest of my guys. Can't believe Carsi finished but Petit didn't - guess he took the order to follow Bennett too literally!
Thank you roturn for the amazing and fast paced reports. |

Great reports! I'm very happy with 2nd overall, with those hills it's only fair for Kennaugh to beat Cattaneo, and he showed he was better in the mountains as well anyway!

Waeytens wins (or ties I suppose) for the KoM, Demare second in the points standings is beyond our hopes for this race obviously. Waeytens stage win was absolutely the highlight for us, but generally a very good race! Too bad neither of those riders are actually mine but I'm sure their owners will be pleased!
Great reporting as ever Roturn

I don't want to be too pessimistic, but losing out on the podium would somehow fit quite well into this Oz-season, that may end up in relegation... So prove me wrong, George
I'll quote myself here.. is all i have to "say" now..
Except of thank you for the reports, roturn! Great job!

So my Bulgarians peaked early, but surprisingly good rides from the two of them. And their adopted team RBC really did well (obviously it was the quality support ).
Really interesting race, even if there were no major upsets. Thank you roturn. Now we may finish the season in 2014 rather than the predicted 2015

Wow, the race is over already, that were some great and fast reports, hats off to you Roturn, incredible job and what a fun.
Team Eastern Europe was one of the worst GC wise, but that was expected. Apart from that, fantastic job.
Tanovitchii is great fighter, i like his style of racing. In the end he was very close to KOM jersey, very close fight there.
Zmorka reassured all about being the next TT star, with coming 4th in the fight with much more experienced riders, he has two more years to fight for even higher placement. To be honest, he was probably riding in better conditions than some later starters .
Grosu, well i never hoped for such an Avenir premiere for our young future funding stone. One podium, two more top5s and one top10 in four sprinter stages is fantastic for lvl 1 rider, i think he could be seen as the best lvl1 rider together with Morton this year, as he also came 5th in points competition.
And if i thought a bit about swaping Grosu for immediate star for a while, i am now pretty sure that he is going nowhere. He should be back at Avenir in our colours next year, this time as 71hill 76/76sprint stats mini beast.
For Golovash, the mountains probably costed him too much energy, which he missed in his prime TT discipline, but i am sure he will do good for our friends at PrivatBank in the future.
Big thanks to PrivatBank for sharing the riders and good communication as always, it was fun!
I would also thank Vien from DieBerg, but i doubt he is still around reading...
Also congrats to all the winners, mainly Pendletons,Kennaugh was a deserved winner, strongest on all terrains. Cattaneo with great push in last two stages, but it was not enough.

Real shame it doesn't count for points but that was great. Wonderful race, thanks for the reports Roturn. |

For our part, the race was a nice surprice in the term of Bazhkou's aggressiveness and Grmays awesome top 10 in GC |

That was a nice final stage of the race, concluding a beautiful race. Thanks a lot for the reports, roturn.
Already looking forward to see many of those talents develop further and be in the mix in the biggest races. |

Next years race should be even more epic and in 2 years we should have some 76+ climbers which might make it less exciting favourite wise, but should be a good change to this year.
Morton, Olivier, Kirsch, Lecuisinier, Shikai, Reis, Galta, Arndt, Meintjes, Stancu will definitely be back next season much improved!
Kennaugh and I think also Barguil could be back. But not 100% sure about Barguil`s birthdate and Kennaugh as he is a former winner then.
Sprinter wise Zabel, Enger, Groenewegen, Van Poppel, Vesely, Coquard, Carsi, Grosu, Hayakawa, Coutinho, Krieger, Yamamoto, Arndt will come back I guess.
So quite a lot of riders that already did well this year. |

Not a succesful Avenir for my team, Exprect Golovash to do better, and he was my only rider here...
But I'm glad I could help Avin form a team with his youngsters, loaned out to me and Vien. Grosu and Zmorka are great talents

2 stage wins and 2 jerseys for the team (even thought Kennaugh is a mercenery). Gotta call that a good Avenir. Next year will be a team fully dedicated to Zabel, to get his second points jersey
