Thomas
Peeters
21
Belgian
Climber
Whilst it is indeed unusual for a Belgian to be able to develop his climbing abilities, Thomas has been able to, thanks to being raised in the Swiss Alps due to his fathers work. He has remained however, very much a Belgian. He has raced several races as a teenager, but never anything against the clock, a discipline he detests. He relishes the challenge of a climb and bathes in the glorious scenery from the top.
As a rider, he is ever the team player, and very realistic about his skills and his limits, and is always willing to bear more than his fair share of the workload.

Name: Johnny Schmidt
Age: 18
Nationality: United States
Rider type: Pure Time Trialist
Short Bio: It all started when I was ten. My father left my mother because of another woman ( much younger than my mom, she could have been my sister!) , married her and they rent an apartment 25 miles from the apartment of my mother away. I stayed with my mother. Every weekend i wanted to go to my father. Since both, mom and dad, were very poor, we had no car. So i had to ride with a 25-dollar-bike to him. As this got very boring after some weeks I started to ride faster and stopped my time. It was a nice challenge to try to beat my record each time. As the route was pan-flat i never learned to ride hills or mountains. When I was fourteen my live changed. My father's wife (she was 23 now) became an international known top model and we were rich. But I had enjoyed my bike rides that much that i continued to ride it. But I had a better bike because my father bought me a high end bike (he said that it was the old time trial bike of David Zabriskie. But i am doubtful...). One day, I rode with my new time trial bike a cycling coach offered me to join them if my father's wife sponsored their team with 30 bikes. And I convinced him and was very glad. My team mates ( strangely, there were only about ten or twelve of them ) won the championships of my home state in 2 of 3 years so I had to control the pace at the beginning of a race for my team. I never wanted to be a leader there but in time trials i was always better then everybody else. Last year I was second in the national youth time trial championchip beaten by only 2 seconds. Now I want to test myself in professional cycling.

Ok, I probably won't be updating much during the weekend. Feel free to sign any approved rider though. For the non-approved ones, you can negociate all you want, but don't make any final deals because I may have to reject stats.
I think we need only a few more team HQ's and a couple of teams need to set goals. Wildcard round 2 still needs some work though
