Great win and a good start to the tour. Breakaway riders will be rewarded with such a small peloton and I think that may be your best tactic for the GC win, get Kopecky into another one or have him attack late on in a stage and I think you will have the GC wrapped up.

@ Owen - Thanks! It was a great win! Im not sure Kopecky will be allowed into the break. I think I'll avoid going in the break the next few days, apart from maybe trying to grab the KOM jersey with Okrouhlicky as well.
An Post Ras Stage 2 (2.2)
May 20th, 2013
Today is a flat day, and with the sprinters being denied their chance at a win yesterday after a mis-timed breakaway catch, I feel today will finally be a day for the sprinters! We wont do too much besides protecting Kopecky's lead but since he's on the same time as everyone else, and only has a lead from the finishes time bonus yesterday, its possible for him to lose his lead in the coming days!
Today had only one breakaway rider, and I can tell you that he was caught inside the final 2km of the stage, so it will be a day for the sprinters.
The leadouts for the sprint, and today we form a pretty good train for our man Hunal! First its Okrouhlicky, followed by Krotky and Hunal as the last man.
The sprint stats and we are at the very front of the peloton! It looks like a really good move as no one is coming around us at all, but just as we start to believe we might have it, Sinkewitz starts to fly and is nearly on Hunal's wheel!
They come to the line neck and neck or wheel to wheel and its going to be very close! Sinkewitz makes up a lot of ground in the final metres but as they get really close to the line, their speeds level out, and they look like they are moving at the exact same speed. The line gets closer and closer and eventually its only one kick of the pedals away and still we dont know who's going to get it. Staring at the line it looks like Hunal edges Sinkewitz but we dont know for sure! Going back to the replay and its as close as ever, but we get another win and make it 2/2!
What a fabulous win, and another win which we thought we might lose in the final moments! Great team win this time too!

Unbelievable close finish, Hunal almost break his pedals to get there first, also great effort from Krotký to bring him at best possible position, nice one

We have another flat stage on the menu for today! There is a slight hill near the end of the stage, but overall it should be another day for the sprinters!
Blair Windsor is the lone breakaway rider, just like yesterday was only a solo breakaway rider! He went to extend his lead in the KOM but that was all he could do as he was caught by the peloton inside the final 10km.
Just like yesterday we started out a sprint train but Hunal couldn't find Krotky's wheel so it was all up to him today!
But unlike the other two days, we couldn't grab the stage win and instead Eric Young took the win today. Hunal went from a long way back to grab a solid 5th place!

Can´t win all .... but another good result.
P. Sinkewitz is getting closer, i think Sparta needs to close an eye on him...

Yikes, 2nd stage was a nail biter but a great victory. Again respectable in stage 3 and the GC doesn't look too bad from your perspective. |

Its a flat stage, and we will do our best to hold on to the GC lead! Its going to be hard to bring back the breakaway, just like every day, but we have to hope we have the firepower to bring them back!
After a typical flat stage, the breakaway were caught just under the 10km banner! It was an extremely fast finish, and a lot of riders had trouble holding on to the front of the pack. Krotky was following the perfect wheel today in Downing who happened to win the stage, so its another terrific result for the team and it also means we hold on to the GC lead!

Today is the queen stage of the race, with several hills in the final 1/3 of the stage and with this being the only hilly stage I expect a lot of action.
Todays breakaway of 6 get clear in the first 20km of the stage and hold a nice advantage for most of the day! Holub is the guy in there for us today and with 7km to go, they still have a 1min gap to the peloton who are chasing hard so that their team leaders can make their decisive moves on the final hill up to the finish!
Inside the final 1km only two riders from the break are left out front, Holub and Alex Clements of Huon. The favourites are chasing behind, including Hunal and Sinkewitz.
As they hit the line, its too late as Holub crosses the line in first, yet another fantastic win for the team here in Ireland! Hunal sprints up into 3rd, where he grabs a nice time gap moving himself into the race lead! Its perfect for the team, as he's the strongest rider to be leading on the team!
