It was eleven more than necessary.

Ted King set a time of just over 31 minutes after being dropped early. Must finish within 25% of winners time or eliminated.
He will probably have to be within roughly 5-6 minutes to make it.

25:56 -> 1556 seconds -> 1556 * 0.25 = 389 -> 389 sec = 6min 29 seconds |

So biggest GC losers today? (my loose, vague interpretation):
Fuglsang +56
Rolland +1:13
Navarro +1:20
Froome and Contador happiest of all with solid times and no yellow to defend. |

Now it's just you!
BMC really disappointing, there team looked like it has just gotten stronger since 2011 where they were great. |

I have money on either BMC or Orica to win this, both at 15:1 odds. I do think it will be Garmin who win it but I couldn't turn down those odds.

The team has a lot of track cyclists and has largely been built from the Australian track program. While that isn't where most of the riders here have come from, it does mean that the team structure puts a lot of effort into riding in formation and into the TTT discipline. Strength as a TTist doesn't mean as much as it does in PCM, it is alll about team cohesion (which is why Garmin are brilliant at this discipline usually).
