You play fast Good luck for Tour, go Nibbles!
Thanks!
It's so incredibly addictive and motivating I simply can't stop
Second rest day at the Tour now. Gap of 1'11 between first and second place, with everyone else at least 2 minutes further behind.
Have fun guessing who of them is Nibbles and who Froome, I should be done tomorrow before the finish of the stage.
Oh, and by the way, Vincenzo is 83-79-77 MO-HIL-TT now, while Froome is 83-77-80.

I need some help here During the real Tour, I want to play every stage the same day on Tour 2013 (console game), but I don't know what team to pick, yet
I definitely don't want a favorite, Nibali, Contador, Froome...
I'm looking for a team that can hunt some stage wins or a secondary classification (points, mountain, young rider, not team)
I thought Quintana (Movistar) might be nice, or OPQS (KoM Velits, Green Cav)
Anyone have an idea what else I could do, I'm not sure yet |

Well Omega Pharma if you want mountains/sprints.
Belkin if you want a bunch of hilly and mountain outsiders.
Greenedge may be interesting also Clarke/Meyer for KoM Gerrans/Albasini/Impey for stage wins. Goss could even do okay in some sprints.

Right, new patch = new career.
Soo, here it is.
With the Huawei pack AndersPCM made:
Huawei - Malaysia Airlines
Note: I've edited a lot of Asian rider stats, and added a lot to the DB. Most stats were way off, and a lot of important guys were not in.
Some 'famous' leaders, but the really big Asian guys not in yet. I want to keep the team for at least 80% Asian(long-term I might count Russia & Australia+NZL as Asia as well I guess).
Also, that Djan Ley guy might be a future WT stage-race winner(won't say GT, guess he doesn't have thát much potential)
It's a CT team, with the goal to promote.
Some tough goals for the team(like Top 10 Oman, Langkawi & Quinhai Lake).
Top 10 Oman is achieved! I got 10th with Sayar. There were really like 9 really good climbers there, so I was lucky to finish 10th with Sayar
Also took the U25 jersey.

Take Astana who have Fuglsang as captain
(maybe slightly biased cuz im dane) But he is not one of the favorites and he's decent
Also Kessiakoff was involved in mountain last year, so a few options

I done this on PCM 2009 with Cervelo, was good fun, especially the mountains with Carlos Sastre

You could go for europcar and go for A Bastille day Ventoux stage win with a possible secondary goal list of him and Voeckler top 10 and top 15 with one of them raking the polka dot jersey.
Or vacansoleil could be a nice challenge taking Feillu on a hunt for green and stages or high GC with their climbers.

Step 2: check
Fun fact of the day: Grivko finished first in all TTT's, so he's only the fourth rider to win a stage in every GT in one season
Only Valverde and Purito are in the Vuelta, so let's hope they peaked for the Tour.
1 to go!

In my Garneau career. The team has 17 victories in for the first half of the season. Alper Rohenso my 21 year old super star has 15 victories in 29 race days. With 3 wins in ATOC and points jersey. Victor Poinsot finished 6th in ATOC and 2nd in GP Besseges, and Tour of Maylasia. Michael Woods has won 5 KOM jerseys and the Palm Springs stage in ATOC.

Oh right.
But how can you sign regens in the first season as a existing team?
Or is it season 2 and did I miss something?

Not technically a career seeing as it's unplayable atm for me, I'm doing the TDF in stage race mode as Sky.
This was unexpected.
Stage two, Sagan (in yellow) went on the attack on the short climb near the end, Kiryienka and Kennaugh reeled him back in and then Thomas lead out Boasson Hagen. Well, that was the plan but Eddy couldn't keep up with G, who won the stage!! |

I'm at the Giro as Astana, and after losing one minute on Cadel Evans in the team trial, Vicenzo Nibali and Cadel Evans went head-to-head on the category two climbs in stage three(?).
In any case, I attacked on the final climb before the descent to the finish, and Evans followed. I had a helper up ahead (F.Aru) in the breakaway, so once Nibali caught him, I had him protect Nibali so that I could set a quick tempo up the hill.
It took 80 effort, but I had opened up a 20 second gap on Evans going up the climb. Thanks to Aru's protection, Nibali regained his yellow and red bars, then did 90-99 effort all the way to the finish.
Vicenzo is now wearing pink with a minute and 30 gap over Evans. |

I have started a career with Belkin.
Currently at Paris- Nice and Tirreno- Adriatico.
So far:
David Tanner won Aussie Champs
Stage win for Renshaw at TDU and top 10 for Nordhaug
Vanmarcke won Omloop Het
Stage win for Bos and Mollema at Paris Nice and Boom 2nd in the prologue, with one stage to go Mollema is third overall just over a minute behind Voeckler. Gesink is 10th overall, over 3 minutes down.
I havent taken a sprinter for Tirreno where my leader is kruijswijk with not a strong team around him.

In the end I opted for Garmin. That way I can compete in the sprints as an outsider (Farrar), compete in the KoM classification (Dan Martin), compete for white (Talansky) and try to launch Hesjedal into the top 10, preferring a mountain stage win, though!
First stage was pretty good. If the breakaway had been caught on time, I would've won, beaten Cavendish on the line thanks to good positioning. But there were still 5 breakaway members |
