The AI seems to get fucked up when there's a (big) crash in the sprint preparation.
Nothing to do about it
Nevertheless, an amazing result for the team

Preston - Kendal
The "Queen" stage of this years Tour is a real monster. The race winds its way across the Lake District and finishes with 4 1/2 laps around Kendal. The feature climb is around 1.5km @ 17%!!!
Node4 did a lot of earl work selecting the breakaway. Eventually a group of 3 was allowed away. They were Reus(RIJ), Clark(HSD) and Driscoll(JSH). The trio built a lead of 7'00 around the halfway mark, when Node4 took up the chase with Garmin and Bardini.
The Break in the Lake District

E4 is down to 22 riders @22"
11km - Crossing the top of the climb for the final time it is all change again!
E1 is now 19 riders, with the various groups coming together and disbanding on the climb

3 from 3! Should only be 1 but hey can't do anything about the AI. From here its a sit back and wait for the ITT on stage 8. Might try something on the way into Bristol though
Please just stick with this. I know it might not be the best to read with domination, but 1) its an accident, and 2) it is building towards a great storyline moment

Tour of Britain - Stage 4
Leeds - Derby
A long 191km stage across the center of England. Its a hilly day, but the long downhill run in the final third should make this a sprint finish. A large break of 11 went away early on. The biggest names in it are Acevedo(JSH), Brown(BLS), Eichler(TNE) and Oliphant(RAL).
Acevedo took out most of the days KoM sprints and will lead the competition at the end of the stage, taking it away from Karl Hammarling. We rejoin with 20km to go. The break has a lead of 4'28 with the peloton taking it easy.
18km to go - The first attacks in the break come! Acevedo, Pullar(MGT) and Brown make the move!
5km - It's all back together at the head now! It will be a group sprint for sure!
1000m - The dash is on! Its everyman for himself up front
FINISH - And its Sorensen on the line from Oliphant, with Friedman in 3rd. The peloton came in 6'16 down lead by Pinto

Nah, hilly route and Wackermann is clear favorite. Should be fun to watch when it happens (after the ToB)

Tour of Britain - Stage 5
Cardiff - Aberystwyth
An interesting stage this one. Its a long day at 203km with a rather lumpy route across Wales. Most of the climbing is stacked in the back half, with a lump on the finishing circuit in Aberyswyth. But still it should be a sprint finish.
The break took a few attempts to form, but a group of 5 made it away. Holmes(RAL), Oronte(JBC), Clark(HSD), Murray(BPC) and Burkhardt(TSP) gained a gap 7'00 by halfway. Soon after Bardini began to chase. We pick up the race at the base of the Cat.2 climb around 40km from the finish.
The Break enjoying the rain
40km to go - The break holds 2'40 over the Bardini and Vini lead peloton
35km - At the top of climb that gap has reduced to 2'32
20km - As the race hits Aberystwyth the gap is only 1'19
10km - The catch is made, but there is no real organization now in the peloton
3km - Several riders have jumped early! They are trying to surprise Node4 and grab the win. Kreder is the man out front!
1000m - Kreder still leads, but the gap is dropping. Rowe is just starting to kick for the line
FINISH - Rowe wins in Wales! Kreder holds 2nd from Gatto in 3rd

I wish the AI was good... No lead-outs except our own, and even then i just held them at the front... On the flip side, another win is good. Also thinking the rest of the field might have poor form

Tour of Britain - Stage 6
Birmingham - Bristol
149 very flat kilometers today. A few rises here and there, but nothing that will put anyone in trouble. This is perfect for a sprint, and is in essence Karl's home stage in front of his family.
The break went away easily early on containing, Putt(BLS), Van der Velde(JBC), Griffiths(IGS), Stocker(ARH) and Vermeltfoort(RIJ). They built 5'30 around the halfway stage as Garmin, Bardini and Vini all shared the chase.
30km to go - The gap has fallen to 2'20 as the chase ramps up a gear
20km - The gap is still falling, down to only 1'35
10km - The break still holds 43", but it is doomed now
3km - The lead-outs launch now. Vini fires into the lead, leaving the rest of the field panicking to catch up!
1000m - Gatto leads under the Kite, but Rowe is kicking behind with the rest of the field
FINISH - And Rowe wins again! Gatto holds 2nd, with Pinto 3rd

Comment (Not Karl)
That was better. Another win, and it was tougher to achieve. Two stages to go! This Tour has been much easier and better than i ever thought possible

Zabel will win
Nah, hilly route and Wackermann is clear favorite. Should be fun to watch when it happens (after the ToB)
My prediction is a Hammarling 1-2.

@sutty + fcanc
Luke is a beast! If he wins into Southampton he will get 10 wins in the season!
@sammy
Whilst that would be awesome, neither Hammarling is good enough to win

If the AI performs like it did on stage 2 then I don't think you can rule out anything.

Interrupted Podium After Emergency
Today's Podium ceremonies at the Tour of Britain were interrupted by a medical emergency is the crowd. Details are still sketchy at this time. Following the presentation of the Gold leaders jersey to Karl Hammarling a man in the audience collapsed. The podium ceremonies were halted whilst medical teams attended the incident. The man was rushed to Bristol City Hospital, and we believe he suffered a heart attack. The name of the man has not yet been released. After a delay of around an hour the podium ceremonies were continued.
This story will expand when more details are released.
