Stage 2: Liège > Seraing
The second stage brings us from Liège to Seraing, a fairly easy stage but the finish is though, favorietes are Gilbert, Freire and Gerrans
The break consisted of K. Kroon (SAX), J. Simon (SAU), R.Nocentini (ALM), L. Ten Dam (RAB), E.Gasparotto (AST), M. Buffaz (COF), Sé Chavanel (EUR), T.Veelers (PRO) with a max gap of 4'20"
there is that jersey that I will wear one day
just before the mountain sprint suddendly Van Den Broeck punctered and I just managed to dodge him. he didn't lose contact to the peleton though
and then the team camera following me made a terrible mistake, he followed Pineau instead of me but luky for me Pineau get close to me so there is some footage of me.
but with 2,2 km Millar (Garmin) crashed and he blocked the road for part of the peleton, and the whole team was blocked, except Cédric and me. Boassen Hagen was in the peleton though
Voeckler won the stage Pineau finished 54th, I finished 28th

@Ian was it obvious , stupid thing was I only noticed 5 km later
@Sutty mixed feelings here, at one side there is the being last in the team classification, but iifr Rui Costa lost time today
@Juan not so funny story, apperently Youtube has a video time limit of 15 minutes, I did not know that . it ended up in being done with uploading at 23:35 or so and then only the processing needed to be done. then I get the message: "the video length is too long". and they say that after 9½ hours of uploading
easy to say I haven't found the time (or the motivation) to either cut the stage into parts or upgrade my Youtube account.

Looks like I'm the only one having PM'ed a 'rider to follow'
Photo quality isn't that good though, but if it's better for your motivation, it's ok to have just photos

a flat true flat stage with no real difficulties, Cavendish, Farrar or Petacchi are favorites. we are counting on Hutarovich for a good result.
There was a break but not for very long. with 178 km to go the were caught. maybe some teams have heard of stories where the break doesn't get pulled back.
I even tried to make a break (twice)
but I was quickly caught twice
Cavendish won the sprint, before Greipel, Ciolek and Farrar. Petacchi finished 7th. I finished 71th and in the peleton

Stage 4: Orchies > Boulogne Sur Mer
we had a plan today: get Roux in the break so he could get a good result and I stick with the favorites. Andy and Frank Schleck with Valverde were the race favorites, which I find wierd. if someone asked me I would say Gilbert though.
Part 1 of our plan worked. Roux was in the breakaway today, along with E. Capecchi (LIQ), D. Moncoutie (COF), A. Geniez (PRO), D. Le Lay (SAU), R.A.Costa (MOV), C. Le Mével (GAM), K.Siutsou (Sky) and J Van De Walle (LTB), now I just need to follow the Peleton.
when the hilly section finally came, the break had a gap of 1'50" with 17,5 km to go. each time the road went upward I was positioned good in the peleton
we see here that are group is getting dropped behind, or coming back to the peleton, Roux is now with Le Mevel in the lead with 1'10" gap with 6,6 km to go. that good result is looking more and more likely
with only 5,6 km to go the Punchers attack, Gilbert; Voeckler; Gerrans. I was temted to join them but since Roux still a minute ahead I did nothing.
on the final climb we caught Geniez (Argos-Shimano) and he was the only rider that was in the Youth Classification excluding Roux.
the Team manager was really annoying for several kilometers with screaming so I pulled my earphone out and when I reached the finish I saw why the guy was screaming so loud
Roux had won the Stage dropping Le Mével on the final climb
in the classifications a lot has changed. Lé Mével took the Yellow, Roux climbed too 13th and I'm now 26th.
Rui Costa took the Mountain jersey and Roux stole the Points jersey. and then something hit me, if Roux had the Points jersey he couldn't wear the Youth jersey does that mean that I ...
No, Geniez gets to wear the Youth Jersey and with only 6 second seperate us . i at least got 3 minutes on Taaramae and 4 on Kruiswijk. too bad that Van Garderen is 3 seconds back
