@Juszta Okay, sorry for that.

And I'm doing fine.
Your allowed 2 fails(as average marks per subject), well, sometimes 1 or 3, won't make it too complicated, and I have 0 fails, so fine.

A bigger problem is that I have completely no clue what to study.
Well, we're going to spent a lot of time on that next 2 years on my school, so hope that'll be allright Frown

I don't believe, that you have completely no clue what you want to study. You surely must have some favourite subject, or some subjects you are quite good at ( if you're lucky, these two are the same Wink ).

If you find these, it's not that difficult to find out what you want to study ( if you are really good at biology, you surely don't want to study history, etc. )

But yeah, I find it perfectly normal to have doubts about your future 2 years before the final exams, but you surely see a general direction, right? Wink

Yeah, something with economics I guess. But there's soo much to choose from. Sad

And it's not interesting. The process of building and running a company I can see as interesting. If it becomes your own little game that you want to optimize so bad it doesn't seem like a job. But most economics jobs sound boring as hell. I was good at it in high school, but to be fair the study of economy is extremely boring.

I fear the same.
I'm good at Geography and History, and maybe Maths, as well, that's it(although most subject go fine with me, except languages and stuff like biology and science)

Speak for yourself, i loved doing economics. Understanding the real world situations was engaging and exciting.

Well guys, I graduate high school June 7th, then I move onto college. I am moving about 2 hours from my house, any tips on how I can get adjusted and used to life without my parents?

Always have spare toilet roll. Learn to cook a couple of simple meals. Bring a towel.

Make friends! Sounds simple but it will make a difference. Learn to cook and clean as well.
First few weeks will be awesome, doing your own thing. Then it will get tough without certain structure and support. That is where you will want to set your own routines to keep yourself organised, and can use friends for support.
Weekly phone calls are also good just to keep in touch

Well I am joining the cross country and track teams as a recruit, and that will keep me busy. I am on a meal plan, getting 16 meals a week plus $150 a semester to use at the local cafe and machines. 4 people share 1 bathroom, and I will be rooming with 1 person. The only part that worries me is being around people I dont know for the first month or too, plus rooming with one.

Have no inhibitions!!!! Talk to everyone!!!! Seriously!
Everyone is in the same situation as you so don't be afraid. They will like you for breaking the ice. You're all at college, you're all around the same age etc. Everyone has at least 1 thing in common. Making new friends will come easier than you think.
A few big things to help with sharing a room (and i know!) is 1) Keep your areas tidy, 2) Regularly wash and 3) Be tolerant

I found that when I moved to college, it was a lot easier than I expected. I moved about two hours away as well. There were some people at school I already had connections with, so I talked to them and met other people through them. Also, make sure you set some ground rules with your roommate. I made that mistake and my roommate freshman year would act like he was living alone and take no consideration for me or my other roommate (we had a three bed dorm). But back to the main point, living that distance from home was perfect for me because I could pretty much go home whenever I wanted, but still got the experience of living at school. It's different for everyone though. Good luck at school and enjoy it. I'm about to graduate next year and time really flies.

Agreed with this. For the first week or so, your room should pretty much just be for sleeping in, or having people hang out in. If you're nervous, alcohol helps lubricate conversations, although I know this may not be possible depending on where you're based.

He said he's joining the athletics team, don't advise him to drink, duh. Pfft

Okay that advice is good, its weird because I have never done laundry before, ever. I just think it will be hard to have to actually act like an adult. I won't have any money which will also feel weird. You are allowed to have a car on campus though, and they have a service where the police will transport you anywhere within a 50 mile radius any time of the day. Thats cool in my mind.

About the alcohol, I don't do that, or smoke. Im a straight-edge kind of guy.

Study leave is awesome when you only live 15 minutes from school. Spending half my time revising, half my time riding my bike. Any one else here on study leave? Cool
