I would say that if you. Feel that it´s more entertaining for you to play with Dominik than do only Monuments and GT. But if you like playing with team as a whole than you should do it like you are doing it. I personaly more enjoy Dominik´s stages much more than team´s but it´s totally up to you. |

I've always enjoyed following Liquigas/Unicredit, through the Nibali -> Sagan -> Cunego -> UniCredit -> Haussler transition and so forth. But I think that if you feel that you've sort of "covered" the team side of affairs, then maybe you could step back from that. I guess a potential transfer for Dominik might influence your motivation to cover team affairs as well.
Otherwise, if it's really more a question of reporting style, I think your success is evident to this point. But that also means you have the luxury of experimenting a new style too |

It's all up to you, though I'd really like to have great focus on Dominik. |

@ all: Thanks for the comments. Of course I'm going to make it the way I feel it's best for me At the moment, I tend to focus more on Dominik, also because he hasn't been racing for such a long time. So I will cut the reports short with only the big races covered. And if I feel like it was better with them, I'll bring them back. Also, if you miss them, please tell me
Okay, with this decision made, we're only two races away from Dominik's first race of the season. Oh, and this last excessive monthly review :

With six World Tour races in March, the ranking is shaken completely. The only constant: Heinrich Haussler still leads with a huge advance. Notice that UniCredit and Rabobank share seven of the Top Ten places.
UniCredit is cut above the rest, and so is Rabobank. Those two teams have fought exclusively for the seven World Tour races so far. The rest is already quite a bit down, but Leopard has shown some potential.
It's maybe a bit early, but still, here are the teams on the bottom of the ranking that may fear relegation. Vodafone, BMC and Lampre can hope for the Grand Tours but Argos surely hoped for a better spring so far.
A similar image as in the WT rankings. Again, it's only Anthony Roux and Tom Boonen who can somewhat interfere in the UniCredit-Rabobank festival.
While lacking of results on the highest level, Katusha consistently scored in continental races and is on a decent fourth place here. Otherwise, nothing new.
Let's also take a first look at the best continental teams: Five of them have already a nice advance over the rest and it seems like they'll fight for promotion. Between them, however, it's extremely close so far.
Giro Wild Cards announced:
After the Tour de France last month, the Giro d'Italia is the second Grand Tour to announce the four wild cards. And just as the Tour, the four additional teams consist of three national and on other top continental team: It's Farnese Vini, Colnago, Acqua&Sapone and Orica who got the invite! After the big disappointment of not being able to ride the Tour, this might be at least some reconciliation for the Australian team.
Cadel Evans has already worn the Maglia Rosa once. Will he be able to add another highlight to his slowly ending career?
The loser of this selection surely is Vacansoleil, who hoped for a Wild Card after being selected for Le Tour. Especially Riccardo Ricco, who aimed for a good performance in his home country will be very disappointed.
As reported last month, Lampre won't prolong their sponsorship for the Italian team. However, its existence is not endangered, since secondary sponsor ISD steps up and takes over the main funding. The Ukranian steel manufacturer is still looking for a secondary sponsor to take its place, but leading riders have already expressed their relief that the future of the team is safe.
With ISD as a main sponsor, we might expect a strengthening of the east-european part of what still is the Lampre team. |

What a month for the team! Completely dominating the rankings, what difficulty are you playing on? If it isn't extreme yet, you should definitely give it a try
EDIT: I just saw you're already playing on extreme. Well, you're just too good at this game, I guess

@ fcancellara: Haha, thanks Yeah, I checked multiple times to make sure I'm really on extreme, but I am ... Maybe I might try what Pellizotti2 did in his Skil story and modify extreme to even extremer Though you have to see the team I'm doing this with: If you have Haussler, Cunego and Sagan in a squad (with these stats!), you can hardly lose

Leopard does the double – Haussler on the podium
It's the second monument of the year and for the second time, we have to report a 1-2 by one team. This time, though, it's not the overwhelming UniCredit, but Leopard-Trek! Fabian Cancellara, who already scored the win last year, repeats his success after a brilliant 50 kms solo ride. And Johan Vansummeren managed to top Chavanel's third from last year by outsmarting Tom Boonen and Heinrich Haussler in the sprint of the chasers.
The decisive attack occured quite early, with a bit more than 50 kilometers to go, which is probably why none of the big favorites reacted. But they seem to have underestimated the Swiss machine: He rode on his own, amazing pace and reached the finish 45 seconds before the next group. This group consisted of the other two big favorites, Boonen and Haussler, and Cancellara's team mate Vansummeren, who was able to hold on all the time while everyone else fell back. And in the final sprint, Haussler and Boonen kept looking at each other, waiting for the other one to make a move, and reacted to late when the Belgian pulled ahead. Haussler at least took a third place for UniCredit, but surely won't be happy with that.
Spartacus lives up to his name with another legendary solo ride.
Hushovd evidently goes crazy – Half the peloton withdraws
Another highlight of the day happened much earlier: Thor Hushovd (Garmin), who was thought of being capable of at least a Top 5 finish, attacked with almost 140 kms to go! Experts are still puzzled over what has gotten into him to make this insane move. But we might never know. However, it didn't look too bad for him at first, since he quickly reached a big gap, culminating at about seven minutes. But of course, he never stood a chance on this long, exhausting course. He ended the race on place 22, just in front of Jarl Salomein (Topsport Vlaanderen).
To illustrate the severity of De Ronde, it's worth taking a look at the bottom of the scoreboard: From the 200 starters of the race, only 98 finished it. Not a single rider from Vodafone-Santander managed to complete the course in time, many other teams brought only one or two riders home. And the only team to finish complete was Lotto – Belisol.
Also worth mentioning: Argos – Shimano had a really good race with Stijn Devolder on place six and Marten Wynants as probably the biggest surprise of the day on place ten.
Hushovd on the attack. But why? No, really, why??

Loving the story!
Too bad for Haussler, winning all those races, and missing out on the big two. Let's hope Roubaix makes up for it (even though I don't really like the guy)

Thanks again for the comments
@ Squire: It means a lot to me, hearing that from a great story writer like you
@ fcancellara: Haha, yeah, Ferrari might not have been too present this spring, but I think we'll see more of them in the GTs.

Boonen expands his record – Haussler again only third
A man and his race: Tom Boonen owns Paris – Roubaix! For the third time in a row and for the sixth time in total, the Belgian wins the prestigeous cobbled classic. But it was close: By a hair's breadth, Fabian Cancellara missed the win and thus the Ronde – Paris-Roubaix – Double. Here's how it went:
It was again Cancellara that made the first big move: With 25 kms to go, he escaped from a group of around 20 riders. Again, no one followed, but this time, the Swiss never got away more than 30 seconds. But the chasers didn't really get closer either. Man by man fell back until only Boonen, Breschel and Haussler were left.
Cancellara entered the Vélodrome with an advance of 20 seconds and that was apparently when Heinrich Haussler realized that this wasn't over yet. He gave his everything to move up to the front – but he failed. Well, partly. Because one man was able to stop Cancellara: Tom Boonen flew past both of them and took the win, while the Australian missed the second spot by a couple of meters. Matti Breschel was satisfied with his fourth place.
He has six of those stones now: Tom Boonen is the ultimate vainqueur of Paris-Roubaix.
Kump steps into the spotlight – Langeveld saves Argos
As always, the Hell of the North had its winners and its losers. Among the winners of this year's edition is surely the young Marko Kump. Lampre's big classics prospect finally shows his big potential and finishes on a strong sixth place. Another surprise in the bigger group that followed the Top 4 is Markus Burghard (UniCredit). The German rouleur worked a lot for his leader but still managed to finish on a respectable 12th place.
In contrary to Kump, another top talent disappointed in the past week: Vacansoleil's Fabio Felline, winner of Omloop and third of Gent-Wevelgem, finished way down on place 22. Only one place in front of him was Stijn Devolder. After a great Ronde, the Belgian had a bad day - still, Argos could report a successful race, since Sebastian Langeveld stepped up and finished on a great fifth place.
But was was going on with Sylvain Chavanel? Saur's big hope for the classics and third at both Ronde and Paris-Roubaix last year failed pretty badly to repeat those results. He can only add a 14th and a 10th place to his palmares.
We might see much more of this young face in the future: Marko Kump shows potential!
