BBC Radio Yorkshire, 18th Feb 2013.
Brian: A quiet day for Yorkshire today. I doubt they will contend the stage today, their riders looked shattered yesterday and with the TT tomorrow, I believe it'll be a quiet day for them.
Robert: But not for the sprinters teams, Kittel and the Argos team have lugged their way over the hills thinking about this stage. Peter Sagan will also be looking to get a stage win as he has had a fairly quiet race.
Brian: With 20km to go, the whole pack is together. There was a 5 man breakaway earlier but it has now been caught, there is no way the sprinters teams are letting this go. BMC and Yorkshire are just keeping their riders out of trouble.
Robert: Argos-Shimano and Cannondale are putting down a thunderous pace. There will be no long range attacks here.
Brian: Two lead out trains have developed, one belonging to Cannondale for Sagan. The other for Degenkolb, Kittel looks like he will not contend the sprint. Riders like Petacci and Bennati are looking to hang on for a lift.
Robert: You can't lift of at this point, it's just hope the guy in front of you doesn't do anything stupid.
Brian: Good job Cav and Ferrari arn't here then, those two have had some past disagreements. The Lead outs have broken down a little too far out, its a long distance sprint now, Degenkolb gets a unintended tow from Modolo and it looks like Sagan has left it too late.
Robert: Degenkolb takes the stage, Roelands second and Bennati taking a good third. Sagan will be disappointed with fourth.
Brian: No change in the GC with Gilbert staying in the lead heading into tomorrows TT. Can Gallopin put 55 seconds.
Robert: Unlikely Brian, but the TT specialist such Geraint Thomas and last years olympic TT bronze medallist Chris Froome will be looking to consolidate pre-season form. We'll be back tomorrow to see how they do.

BBC Radio Yorkshire, 19th Feb 2013
Brian: With only the top eight left. Michael Rogers of Saxo-Tinkoff leads the stage with a time of 35 mins dead.
Robert: I think thats a great time, can't see anyone beating that. Hesjedal finishes 5th 44 seconds down.
Brian: Lars Boom finishes 33 seconds down knocking hesjedal down to 6th.
Robert: Chris Horner and Langeveld have been neck and neck the whole way round and finish exactly 2 minutes apart, the same as they started. 29 seconds down, Langeveld takes 3rd place by 2 tenths of a second.
Brian: Only Voigt, Gallopin and Gilbert left now.
Robert: Voigt takes the second fastest time only 17 seconds behind Rogers.
Brian: Gallopin finishes well 25 seconds down, that should keep him second but unless Gilbert explodes I would expect him to stay there.
Robert: Gilbert finishes 23 seconds down to maintain his first place, well ridden by the Belgian. Gallopin will take the Young riders jersey and second overall. Jens Voigt will take a very good third.
Our Next covered race will be the Omsloop Het Nieuwsbald.

BBC Radio Yorkshire, 25th Feb 2013
Brian: Welcome to Belgium. Today is the Omsloop Het Nieuwsblad. I'm hearing wierd rumours from the Yorkshire camp that their sponsors insist that they win this race.
Robert: Would seem harsh to me, they have some good riders but with the like of Cancellera and Boonen here, it seems unlikely.
Brian: They have brought a strong classics team with both Langeveld and Gallopin, giving them options.
Robert: We pick up the coverage with 30km to go. The race has fractured already, There is a seven man leading group including Iglinsky and Morkov. They are 53 seconds ahead of the next three man group Including Slaghter and Jungels. Then Yorkshire have both Gallopin and Langeveld in the next group, however both Cancellera and Boonen are in the same group of 37. Sky have 4 riders in that group and Matt Hayman is dragging the group to the breakaways.
Brian: I can't see anyone behind that being involved. Sky are putting down a ruthless pace here. Looks like they want to tee this up for Boassan Hagen or Thomas.
Robert: Riders are dropping off are the time. Are the the breakaways are being caught one by one. Bernie Eisel now joins Hayman at the front. Both Gallopin and Langeveld are still there.
Brian: With 10 km to go, Langeveld and Cancellera attack. There are looking to work together, could this go all the way. Sky as per usual don't look at the attack, just their Watt meters.
Robert: It doesn't look they they will be able to stay away, with 6km to go, they are caught again. Now Langerveld will just try and hang on. Now it's down to a select sprint, how will Gallopin do?
Brian: Gallopin has got a great wheel, he is sat just behind Boonen, relying on Toms race craft to get him into a good position.
Robert: The only issue, is that Sky have enough riders here for a lead out. Nick Nuyens has got onto Geraint Thomas's wheel. Tom Boonen has missed the train. Thats him out of it.
Brian: It's going to be big for Sky, unless Nuyens can time it do perfection, he jumps from behind Thomas with 200m to go. That is a superb win for Garmin, Thomas beaten into Second, Hayman Third.
Robert: Cancellera in 9th, Boonen 10th, Gallopin 11th. They didn't catch the sky train and paid for it.
Brian: Yorkshire will be a little dissapointed with that, it was an impressive piece of work by sky and superb oppoutunism from the Veteran Nuyens.
Robert: Thankyou for joining us, Our next featured race will be the Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen.

Quote: Sky's work prompted some to refer to them as 'robots', cyclists who follow power meters instead their feelings. It is unclear where the comments originated.

Lol. First an understated role bringing the TdF to Yorkshire, now being quoted in Cycling weekly. What should I do next? A real yorkshire team would be cool

BBC Radio Yorkshire, 3rd March 2013
Stage 2: Dreisdaage van West-Vlaanderen.
Brian: Welcome to Flanders, Taylor Phinney is in Yellow and will look to extend his lead. His BMC team are keeping it close today, however as we started getting to the latter stages, the big breakaway of 17 was making people nervous. With 30km to go, Yorkshire have put the hammer down.
Robert: Christria Patron of Wallonie and Joeri Calleuw of Ventalier are just 12 seconds ahead of the breakaway which has 15 riders remaining. They are a minute and a half ahead of the peleton. There are 94 riders left in the main peleton.
Brian: Yorkshire are putting down a thunderous pace and with only 10 km to go, there are only 60 riders left in the group.
Robert: Langeveld has ridden of the front, And Gallopin is sat in his shadow. It looks like today they're going to work together rather than at omsloop where they tried to win individually and then neither one.
Brian: It's a clever move as none of the teams in the peleton know what to do. Everyone is looking at BMC to chase but they are having trouble getting themselves organised as they had been watching yorkshire set the pace and of course they've all stopped.
Robert: This is crazy, someone has to follow them or this could be a huge win for Yorkshire.
Brian: With 6 km to go, Phinney realises he's not going to get any support and attacks alone. Can he catch them.
Robert: Langeveld has just got his head down and is burying himself, Gallopin is going to owe him a few rounds after this. And there it is, with 2 km to go, Gallopin attacks. The gap is huge, Gallopin finally looks behind him and obviously taking hints from the Sagan school of celebration raises his hand to his eyes to try and find the rest of the peleton. A huge win for Gallopin and Yorkshire.
Brian: I'm stunned that noone organised a response, I think they had just got used to Yorkshire leading and assumed Yorkshire would settle for a sprint finish. It was a risky strategy but paid off big. That will put Gallopin in Yellow, can he hold on for tomorrow?

Just looking to improve the formatting, but am looking to build it slowly, as I don't really have the time to send hours on it. For example you've got nice tables on your story (bet thats the first time anyone has ever complimented your tables) and I'm trying to shamelessy copy them. So how did you do them? My tables, ended up like you can see.

BBC Radio Yorkshire, 04/03/13
Brian: Welcome to the last stage in Flanders. With 30km to go, a 7 man group including Pauwels and Nys is one and a half minutes up the road. With still well over 100 riders still in the peleton, Yorkshire are keeping it together.
Robert: As they enter the finishing circuit, Yorkshire with ramp the speed up. It is worthwhile noting that Yorkshire do not need to bring this group back they are just keeping the pace high to keep them out of trouble.
Brian: And here's why, 15km out theres a crash. Langeveld is down. Yorkshire won't be able to go back for him as they've got to keep Gallopin out of trouble, he'll have to work himself back into it on his own.
Robert: He's managed to catch up with the back of the pack, but he had to work hard to do it. The breakaway has been caught and he'll just look to stay with the group, and theres another one. Ouch this is a big one. 8 km out, no way they're going to get back now. Langeveld was behind that one as well. He's got every right to consider himself unlucky.
Brian: Theres now a pack of only 30-ish left. Gallopin on his own, this has caused carnage. Gallopin sits on Taylor Phinneys wheel. This is going to be messy. Baden Cooke and Tom Veelers are caught behind that crash too. Always feels a little harsh to lose time this way but that why you need to ride at the front.
Robert: It's a scrappy sprint for the win, Taylor Phinney goes for it but Gallopin stays with him. And it's a second win for Gallopin, superb win. Just a hard scrap this time. We've just got the news that Ian Wilkinson has been injured in the crash and has broken a rib, he'll be out for a few weeks.
Brian: Well done to Gallopin and that will give him overall too. Well a superb result for Yorkshire, their first ever 2.1 win overall. We will be back with the Nokere Koerse.
Stage 3.
1: Tony Gallopin Yorkshire Tea 4:21:31 | 2: Jens Keukeleire Orica-Greenedge +0 | 3: Taylor Phinney BMC +0 | 4: Tomas Vaitkus Orica-Greenedge +0 | 5: Moreno Hofland Blanco +0 | 6: Nico Eeckhout An post +0 | 7: Davy Commeyne Accent Jobs +0 | 8: Tom Leezer Blanco +0 | 9: Julien Vermote Omega Pharma - Quick step +0 | 10: Guilliaume Keirsbluk Omega Pharma - Quick step +0 | 79: Sebastian Langeveld Yorkshire Tea +1:31 |

Press Conference, Sheffield Track.
Gaffeff: Well today we annouce our new sponsors, but first we want to let you know about the new structure which we believe will support us in our attempt to be a world tour team.
Yorkshire Tea will move to sponsoring the newly formed "Yorkshire Development Squad" which will primarly contest the UK races, although they way travel within Europe for a few others [If they pay us].
This will focus on developing riders within Yorkshire. It will be led by a small cadre of experienced riders. Two of these have been named so far and they will be Dean Downing and Ben Day. Further signings will be released as they are made.
We also believe that womens cycling is also an important area and therefore Yorkshire tea will also be sponsoring a Womens team. Details of this are still sketchy and more detail will be forthcoming.
Yorkshire Tea have given us great support and we are glad they will still be involved but we need to look to the future. We wanted a UK based company with global reach and we believe we have found one ... Next year we will be "British Airways - White Rose".
Sponsorship will be approximatly in the ballpark of £2M but more may be made available for certain criteria. We believe this will be exciting for our team, and look forward to doing our new sponsors proud.
Any questions: [Most were generic but one was interesting]
Reporter: "Lizzie Armistead is a well known Yorkshire rider, would she be a target of the womens team?"
Gaffeff: "Lizzie is a great rider and any team would be lucky to have her on board. As you are well aware, no contracts can be arranged until after August 1st".
Reporter: "So she's a cert for the womens team then".
Gaffeff: "With her ability, why do you think she'd only be eligible for that team. Anyway, no more questions"
