Don't worry Ian. I am working on a new db at this very moment. It will mean the start of a new story but I think it will be interesting.

2012 Intro
After a long think I decided that I would be leaving Team AXA Insurance and rejoining Team Sky. I decided that after losing Chris Froome I would have better support at Team Sky then at AXA Insurance. I was very lucky for making this decision because a few weeks later Team AXA Insurance had a lot of money trouble and had to fold. I guess losing me, Froome and many more key riders wrecked the team. Well I am okay and got a team and a lot of support. I will be posting my season schedule and the team sponsor
objectives soon.
Thanks
B.Wiggins

Sponsor Objectives
The sponsor objectives for the team are quite important. If we don’t achieve them then the team sponsor will not be happy and may leave us and if we do the sponsor will be very happy. Well Team Sky wants us to achieve these.

Season Schedule
My schedule is worked out around the Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana (trying for back to back wins). I am going to tell you about my schedule in depth (kind of). So here we go.
First I will be racing the Strade Bianchi. I am hoping for a top 10 here. I will then move of to Italy for Tirreno – Adriatico. A stage win here would be nice but a Top 5 overall is the goal. After a bit of a break until the Ardennes classics which I will be racing the La Fleche Wallone and Liege - Bastogne – Liege. A top 20 in these should be sufficient for me. Then of to Switzerland for the GP de Romandie. I am hoping for a win in the overall because of the 2 TT stages. Tour of California is next. With time trials and mountain stages. I am hoping for a top 5 overall. June brings the Criterium du Dauphine. Overall win is my goal. I should be onto pretty good fitness by now. Then comes my main goal, the Tour de France. I really want to win but a Top 3 is the goal. Then is my break.
When I come back from my break I start at the Coppa Varesine. A win here is the goal. Then the Vuelta a Espana. Here I can’t expect any less than a win. Next I will race the GP de Namur as my final preparations for the World Championships. The goal is win. Next is the World Championship TT. I want to win here but I will settle for a podium. To finish of the season I will race the Gran Premio di Lombardia. I am hoping for a top 10. That is where I will finish my season. That is a total of 78 race days.
Race | Goal | Race Days | Strade Bianchi | Top 10 | 1 | Tirreno Addriatico | Top 5 | 7 | La Fleche Wallone | Top 20 | 1 | Liege - Bastogne - Liege | Top 20 | 1 | GP de Romandie | 1st | 6 | Tour of California | Top 5 | 8 | Criterium du Dauphine | 1st | 8 | Tour de France | Top 3 | 21 | | | | BREAK | | | | | | Coppa Varesine | 1st | 1 | Vuelta a Espana | 1st | 21 | GP de Namur | 1st | 1 | TT World Championship | Top 3 | 1 | Gran Premio di Lombardia | Top 10 | 1 |

Australian Championships (The manager reports)
Hey there everyone. I am the manager of Team Sky and Bradley has asked me to get a few photos and blog about them online. Alrighty so let’s get going.
Start List
Stage Profile
The Race
So we start off with the normal breakaway. Sutton was our man for this.
With 5 laps to go the leading group had 9 minutes on the peloton.
Rogers and Gerrans attacked with 5 laps to go.
Gerrans got away from Rogers on the 4th last hill.
Gerrans got up to the leading group with 31km to go.
With 12km to go Sutton and Gerrans went off the front.
With 1.4km to go Sutton was on the front leading out Gerrans.
Going over the line it was 2 Sky riders first and 2nd but wait, that’s not Gerrans in first place. It’s Christopher Sutton.

Interview with Simon Gerrans
Interviewer: Great race by you and the team. Congratulations
Gerrans: Thankyou
Interviewer: So you were in the best position to take the win on the wheel of team mate Sutton. What happened?
Gerrans: Well I was thinking to myself about the win and when I got up to the breakaway group I was thinking I could win this. Then Sutton came up and helped me out which I was very happy about. Then we rode off the front and were alone. He was on the front the whole time and I just couldn’t take the win from such a work horse.
Interviewer: Okay. Well thank you for your time Simon.
Gerrans: No Problem.
The team did great today especially Simon Gerrans who had a lot of sportsmanship to give Sutton the win like that. Anyway next is Bradley Wiggins updating so I guess I will see you again for the national championships in June.
Thanks
The Manager

Strade Bianchi
Start List
Stage Profile
Today I want a top 10. That is my only priority.
The Race
Carlstrom was our man for the break so he attacked as soon as he reached the front.
Visconti hit the deck after only 15km. He is having trouble getting up.
He quickly makes it back to the peloton with the help of Failli.
On the first of the dirt roads Carlstrom rode of the front of the breakaway group.
At the start of the hill in the middle I was feeling pretty good. The break had 7.54 on my group.
With 100km to go a group of 79 riders went of the peloton. Main riders included are; Nibali, Menchov and Duarte.
With 30km to go Flecha attacked and was followed by Kocjan.
With 20km to go Flecha was in the leading group with Lechuga.
I had to get out of the peloton so I attacked with 19km to go.
A group of 5 got away which included; Flecha, Me, Kocjan, Hoogerland and Westra.
With 10km to go the leading group was 17 riders.
Surprisingly Knees had a shot with 3km to go.
And Knees’ late attack worked. He had won the Strade Bianchi.
Mori 2nd and Visconti 3rd. I came in 13th spot which is pretty good looking at my fitness.

Knees did great. First he looked after me then he attacked and won. Great job. I was outside my goal but I am okay. First race of the season. Next up, Tirreno-Adriattico. Can’t wait.
