Stannard is a fighter.
The rider he relates to is Jens Voigt other than Stannard is more cobble-driven, and has said himself that he WILL win Paris-Roubaix
Stannard's palmares
he has had a great year, this season, him and Ben Swift have been top 10'ing fairly regularly, with Stannard doing Voigt'esq attacks and Swift following him

i really didn't think he'd be allowed
well at least the best riders are allowed to race, dope or no dope
(i personally feel he used to be doped but isn't anymore)
obviously i have no proof i'm just going on performances and the fact i don't like him

Justice? It's not justice. He's under an investigation (or, he should be) and is therefore not allowed to ride due to the Ethics Agreement by the teams. |

Leaving a rider out of a competition a suspicious rider and allowing confessed dopeheads to ride? Both Valverde's and Rasmussen's cases were unfair, godsake. |

You had to know he would be able to ride. The man was cleared and they would have no legal jurisdiction to keep him out. I can't say if he cheated, but like it or not he was cleared and as such should be able to ride. Same with Di Luca and Davis.
What i do have a problem with is Zabel. How they could allow him and not the others is a joke. And what a coincidence he is German. Wow that is some coincidence. So I am glad Valverde will ride as it is the correct decision.

For the moment there is no investigation on him. as such, it's only fair he should ride. however, I do hope he doesn't win. because there's a decent chance he'll be suspended in the near future.
and a suspended world champion is just what this sport doesn't need.

By the way, Christensen (4th) and Malori (5th) have really profited from being passed by Boom and Ignatiev.
Christensen was 22th (!!!) after points 1, at 50 seconds of Boom, and got passed, then he followed Boom's wheel and finished 4th...
Malori, also sucked at point 1, followed Ignatiev, finished 5th.
Am I the only one feeling this is a bit unfair play? |

Bugger.
Im going to have to Time Trial home from school Cancellara-esque in the faint hope that he is still riding by the time i get home - i believe BBC have got the TT full coverage on in their interactive channels.
Hell probablly have finished by 15:25 British time though

and a suspended world champion is just what this sport doesn't need. No investigation on him, that's true, because despite all evidences, his federation refuses to lead an investigation about him. My eyes ache when I'm reading this is Justice...
@whoever talked about Zabel : yes it's sad he's here, but the fact he's German is irrelevant. Neither the organisers nor his German teammates want him to be there, simply his coach and federation chairman do. |
