Probably this GP would be better if only Grosjean and Hamilton wouldn't crash...
I don't like Hamilton at all, his ways of overtaking always are way too riskful.
Grosjean is a great driver, if he doesn't crash, just like Kobayashi and Perez.
Alonso wins because cars in front of them crash or have technical problems.
So, perhaps it would have been better, but at least the crash was very spectacular and nobody got hurt.
I really dont mind Hamilton, and he certainly isn't as reckless as Grosjean or Maldonado, or Senna.
Grosjean an alright driver. He's good at qualifying. Kamui and Perez are not as prone to crashing as Grosjean, not sure if you meant to word it like that, and I think exciting is a better word for them

Hah yeah who was Button supposed to "fight" with... his shadow?
Anyway I'm so sad for Kamui after all that... at least Raikkonen is now just 1 point from the top three overall |

I agree with you though Alonso now is my favourite rider and this year wins for crash/tecnical problem only one time. You must remember also that he haven't the best car.
You said that Hamilton takes too many risks, another reason for wich the GP would be much interesting |

Grosjean has been suspended one race, so he won't be (racing) in Monza. A bit harsh if you ask me, although the consequences of the crash could have been really serious, his car went really close to Alonso's head.

da fuq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is just so wrong!
Okay he was part of the cause, but a whole race suspension for slightly squeezing Hamilton is grossly ott...
Hope it means that someone (Algersuari or d'Ambrosio) gets to drive in his place at least

Grosjean getting a one race ban is harsh. Yes he cause the accident, but Hamilton could have backed off, and had it been at any other first corner in F1 it would have been nowhere near as bad, bar maybe Monaco. Makes a case for using the sportscar grid on the run down to Eau Rouge in future. |

It's a bit harsh in the sense that he's not really paying for the mistake (there'd be a dozen, if not a couple of them) of suspensions per season otherwise. He's paying for the consequences of it. Numbers of car taken out, teams the cars belong to, and position of the other drivers involved.
Maldonado got a double 5 positions penalty on the grid as well (it was about time...). |

Come on guys, whether he gets to drive one lap in Monza or not is pretty irrelevant.

Yeah, so they'll go airborne in Eau Rouge instead? Not the way to go either imo.

I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to try and make a pass through Eau Rouge on Lap 1. But onto the straight following you would see a great start, and it would allow the current pits to still be used. |

There are enough jackass in the bunch that you'd probably see some trying to overtake on the first Eau Rouge pass. Otherwise it'd be a massive pill up of car at Combes, so I don't think it'd be much better.
Rolling starts with cars on one line (like after a safety car) are much safer, IMO. |

watch IndyCar, doesnt work...
Wouldnt have been a problem today, but Kamui was very slow away, and Maldonado jump started, forcing Roman futher across the track than he other wise would have

Or go back to the old circuit where the run to the first corner is long enough to split the pack up. |

As someone who likes Grosjean and has experience racing I can tell you that was not at all harsh on Grosjean. He got off lightly in fact.
It's just that the F1 stewards are morons and usually let the drivers get away with ridiculous things that should be penalized, so fans are used to this kind of crap going by unnoticed.
It was not a light squeeze, he put Hamilton in the wall. If someone is alongside you don't move, simple as. The problem is that the precedent of a ridiculously light penalty was set several times (see Schumacher vs Barrichello in Hungary) so now it's hard to escape it

You remember correctly, Di Resta is down to 9th.
Alonso with a rather big mistake in the first chicane making it -5 spots on Vettel rather than +2 if we take Massa as reference.

I hope it's a good race, hopefully without any serious crashes. But it's Monza, and that first chicane, you know what's going to happen. |

I hope that tomorrow will be a big fight for podium between Ferrari and Mclaren, though for Alonso there is a big risk at the first chicane like Miguel said and overtake the car between him and Hamilton won't be so easy... |

In other news, Robert Kubica has just droven a rallye in Italy. He expects to be back in 2013 or 2014. I would love to see him back.
And, Alessandro Zanardi, for those who remember him, is a hero. He won 2 gold and 1 silver Paralympic medals with handbiking. Now that is an athlete!
