Andy Schleck, Basso, Peterson and Ten Dam in the break with 3´40 and 35km to go. UHC chasing, although the last climb might be too much for Förster

Right, so Andy attacked on a descent alone.
Crazy mountain air.

Schelck is doing a TT now... that's not always a good sign. But I wish him luck , he seems to like more and more long breakway |

Kirby "Andy's TT ability needs to come to the fore now"
I lol'ed.
If that happened, he would lose.

He would deserve the win, though, as he did a lot of work before and actually tried something. He spend to much power riding solo to win and Ten Dam looks strong now.

To me, Andy is possibly the strongest here.
He'd deserve the win too should he get it.

That might be too early, i doubt they have to 50 seconds the tracker shows.

Aww That's too bad for A.Schelck and the breakaway... But I like when he is trying like that. |

Well done Viviani.

Well, there's a reason why those guys aren't breakaway specialists.

At least we saw some nice last kilometers, i´d preferred the breakaway to win this, i don´t like Viviani.
UHC failed - first chasing for Förster, than he fall back just like i predicted.

Anyone able to figure why Garmin did any chasing at all there at the end? I know Peterson was struggling, but in the end lets face it, none of those riders in the break are good Sprinters and with real sprinters still in the group why bring them up?

Final stage of a disappointing race, 5 kms to go, Alvarez, Roulston and Roth is about 15 seconds ahead of the peloton.
Edit: And A. Schleck attacks on a flat run in for sprinters! That's sort of funny, very funny

Ending with a 1-2 for Liquigas, Oss in front of Viviani. And Leipheimer wins overall. |
