Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but the Eneco tour will bring back the Muur van Geraardsbergen in the world tour. This year the final stage will finish around Geraardsbergen with the Muur featuring in the final twice.

As long as they don't put the finish atop the Muur, that's great news. The Eneco could be so much better than it is...

Wow anything could happen there, that's a really interesting route. If Evans is in decent form he could well take it, because BMC can field a decent TTT squad if they need to, and the individual time trial is obviously going to help Evans.

Here's the official route map for stage 1 of the Etoile de Bessèges. It's lucky race organisers make these, otherwise the riders would have no idea where they are going.

In general the route in Besseges looks much more exciting than previous versions.
2 mainly flat stages. 2 hilly stages and a short stage on the 5th with a short time trial following in the afternoon with a steep 16% section in the last 2,5km, which are going uphill.
Surely a much harder version where riders like last years winner Ravard or Dumoulin won`t have big chances.
So will be interesting how Coppel, Peraud, Rolland or Taaramae are doing here.

Route from the Tirreno looks very nice: TTT, some flat stages, a hilly, a mtf, again a hilly and an ITT. Should be a good allrounder (someone like Evans again) who will win it!

It suits Contador even better with the hard MTF.

As I couldn`t find profiles for Besseges I created them by myself.
At least for stage 2-5b.
Especially the "mountain" time trial with 16% sections might decide the overall as also the partly pretty hilly stages. Big difference to earlier versions, which suited sprinters with a good uphill ability. |

Tirreno: Me gusta. I love Tirreno. Also love the way they massively vary the course over the years.

Nice profile T-A, should be very interesting. Kreuziger will be targeting the race, he could do well on this profile

Not as difficult as the 2011 edition, but still interesting enough.

Interesting route. 3 mountain-top finishes and not a single stage for the pure sprinters, more for someone like Sagan.

I like that route. It's tough, and the last two stages will be very interesting. |

All profiles can be opened as pdf files here https://www.amgent...ages.html.
In general a tough looking route with lots of hard mountains. Will be an interesting race. |

Must say PN looks decent this year. It's just too bad that I, for the third year in a row, won't be able to watch it.
