Wasn`t Wim Vansevant the rider, who got the red lantern in the TdF. |

WVS retired 3 years ago, and was supposed to drive OPL guests during the upcoming TDF.
Say I was wondering what the next doping affair would be and who it'd involve. I'm a bit disappointed, I expected something more South.
Well it still not clear if its meant for OPL, it could be for his own farm or for mutliple reasons. Lets just hope for the best....

Old news. The second test was negative by the way. Before the Mexicans said it`s impossible that it`s from a piece of meat.
I think there isn`t a decision yet, but as the 2nd test of all of them was negative I don`t think they get banned.

Of course they won't be banned. They are footballers, for fuck's sake. They don't use PEDs. |

Also W. Vansevant isn't allowed to tag along with OPL in the tdf following the doping find:

Strange. Do you imagine Stapleton buying Nokias to his guys?

Nothing really strange. If there was a non latin team I'd expect to be (sort of) involved in a doping affair, it was Omega Pharma-our-doctor-used-to-work-for-Saunier-Duval -Lotto. |

Even if don't understand Danish, it's worth watching the clip. Rasmussen's expressions are gold:

Hahahaha, that's f*ing funny. He like looks down quickly three times after basically admitting to be doping without directly saying it. Priceless.

We better hope Gilbert still has some product left, or he won't win any stages at this year Tour de France... same goes to VDB |

And i've read somewhere that haircoloring can make certain doping tests on hair fail or something. Wasn't this something that happened with Festina in 1998?.

lets view this from a logical point of view. if you were doping your team, would you use air transport to transport your goods. knowing everything passes through a scanner and drugsdogs?

Would you do it that way for any other purpose then?
On Gilbert's new hair style, bleaching your hair for passing a hair drug test doesn't work. It was done, iirc, because the newest version of synthetic EPO available by 1998 caused, as a secondary effect, the appearance of white spots in the hair, so that was a way to conceal a secondary effect, rather to try to pass a hair test.
(I don't quite remember the details, I remember something like that posted by isso some months ago) |
