TdF stage 12 -- Cugnaux - Luz Ardiden

Voeckler attacks at Ancizan

img861.imageshack.us/img861/5224/12tdf2.jpg
He takes 5 points, but never gets any further ahead of the peloton than a minute. Here he is with Taaramae who he caught on the downhill

img155.imageshack.us/img155/8701/12tdf3.jpg
We don't get far on the Tourmalet before the peloton reels him in. Which means that he used very much power for very little

img846.imageshack.us/img846/1103/12tdf4.jpg
On Luz Ardiden a group of 3 is formed at the front, containing my 3 favorites before the Tour

img225.imageshack.us/img225/4827/12tdf5.jpg
Andy Schleck wins the stage in front of Samu

img3.imageshack.us/img3/5117/12tdf6.jpg
Sicard finishes in Frank Schlecks group, under 2 minutes behind

TdF Stage 13 -- Pau - Lourdes

img51.imageshack.us/img51/8674/13tdfprofile.jpg
The first of three stages were it is likely that a break away survives. Voeckler will go in the break for the mountain points at Aubisque.

img834.imageshack.us/img834/4070/13tdf1.jpg
Voeckler takes the first sprint

img811.imageshack.us/img811/9256/13tdf2.jpg
Keeping a high pace up Aubisque. The peloton is now 7 minutes behind with 60 kms left. The long downhill increases his chances of another stage win.

img855.imageshack.us/img855/1091/13tdf3.jpg
1st over Aubisque. His lead is around 3 minutes, which I think will increase significantly on the downhill. Feillu is in the peloton over the top, and both Boonen and Cavendish are gone, big chances for green in the next stage.

img853.imageshack.us/img853/6592/13tdf5.jpg
The last hill didn't do Feillu any good, but he still manages a 6th place, which means at least one day in green!

TdF stage 14 - Saint-Gaudens - Plateau de Beille

img16.imageshack.us/img16/2585/14tdfprofile.jpg

img535.imageshack.us/img535/846/14tdf1.jpg
I originally decided that Voeckler wasn't going in todays break, but for some reason I changed my mind. Which would later prove to be a good decision.

img638.imageshack.us/img638/6699/14tdf2.jpg
Voeckler was second at the first mountain sprint, but won the last two.
The peloton is 9 minutes behind with 65 km to go, but they have already started increasing the pace. Moncoutie has also attacked late on the stage, and reached the break on Col de la Core.

img827.imageshack.us/img827/2507/14tdf3.jpg
Moncoutie rides away from the rest of the break.

img718.imageshack.us/img718/4996/14tdf4.jpg
Schleck and Contador is riding away from the other favorites, but Sammy Sanchez is holding about the same speed. Moncoutie is two minutes ahead of Voeckler, who you can see a glimpse of further up the mountain.

img841.imageshack.us/img841/428/14tdf5.jpg
Moncoutie wins!

img864.imageshack.us/img864/2471/14tdf6.jpg
Voeckler manages to stay away, and secures some important mountain points.

TdF stage 16 -- Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux - Gap

img217.imageshack.us/img217/1415/16tdfprofile.jpg

It certainly does, so Voeckler is now going to do a job for Sicard, to secure his top 15 position. Only one flat stage left, so the green jersey will be decided on Champs-Elysees!

Feillu barely survives the split on the last hill, Boonen is way behind so we might take some points on him today.

Bad lead-out on this stage, with Voeckler being boxed in, so Feillu had some distance to cover.
