He started on 600k and took a pay cut down to around 500k I think. I don't expect him to be cheap, but I am expecting him to take a bit of pay cut due to extremely poor performance this year.

I was tempted standing at the side of the road to leap out and punch Gilbert in the ribs!

But then I though only French dudes do that - what a great performance by Cleaver though great to see!

Wahey! There's a season goal. Kudos to RJC on his simultaneous riding and managerial skill but that was good.

Won't be a huge points score cos only 2 of our riders placed.

I expected Claeys or Rabon to pick up a good place but both of them, after some disappointing races (Burgos) LEGO hangs on

Interesting. I wasn't quite sure who to cheer on, myself, Tanguy, Wiggle or the entire host of British riders.

And in the end, my best rider is a stagiare. So I guess I'll cheer myself on, and pat myself on the back. I also expect a wage rise for next season SN. I demand it so.

And also, that course is one I designed, following an evil race I have done. Though in real life, it's only two laps, and is raced by rubbish cyclists... like me!

Updated rankings for Pendle and Plouay. Good races for Wiggle in 2nd, but it remains brilliantly close behind. UBS move into 4th to close the gap on SL Benfica, but with 100% Me, Pendletons, Milka and Lego being key scorers - and at the bottom end of Top 10, and 12th, the end result is tighter than ever.

Hopefully Mercedes luck turns starting in Missouri. A lot of racing coming up, which will hopefully make up for a painful last few weeks of relative inactivity.
